the curve ratio is weird cause some characters arent there to be put into play (such as the 6 drop huntress) i only have 3 2 drops cause he is the back up plan i usually drop harvy and re drop alfred..........the ratio is crazy on paper but it runs smooth
it started out gk/checkmate for toolboxing and using the bullock engine then i made so many changes the checkmate stuff was serving no purpose shortly after posting
on the other hand im most likely going to take it apart cause against kree silver bullet(or anything using the bullock engine) its great but it really doesnt do to well against anything else

Cassandra Cain five drop is actually a very mediocre card in my mind. A lot of us see remember how awesome the four drop was, but there are a lot of differences.
The better choice is Kate Kane I think. With so many of your locations costing two, she will always trigger.
I also recommend you play a Checkmate character at each level.
Bat Got Your Tongue is pretty important here too. It can stop your opponent's attempts to destroy your Cloak. The ability to negate a pump is also very crucial.
I'd also play 2x SOul World and a Slaughter Swamp.
If I were to build this deck I'd do something like this.

cassandra is filling in untill i can get kate,as far as budget goes im between jobs so i wont be buying any more wf anytime soon. i actually changed the deck up a bit and will repost it when i get a chance
Cassie is a fine 5 drop in conjunction with soul world, since for just 4 END she gets to turn any character card in hand ( Alfred after he's been used?) in to a knightmare scenario. +2/+2 offense or defense is part of why Checkmate is successful, right?
As for why combine the 2, well, they have dual affiliated characters to both, and Batman used to have a relationship with Sasha Bordeaux. Synergy with each other, as well as comic history.
I'm liking it.
As far as how? Well, I think the use of 4x Alfred and 4x connie Webb with just 2x Sarge Steel might be easily justifiable. Both return and can be replayed, and likely would be desirable to replay at least once each, making turn 1 Alfred, turn 2 Connie, use Alfred, then use connie and then replay alfred, then turn 3, play ahmed, use alfred, turn 4 play huntress/batman/ tim drake, turn 5 play annihilation protocol/kate kane/cassie, turn 6 play batman, turn 7 play Sasha. With rook control your batmobiles should be fin, with leslie thompkins clinic you should be able to keep an extra guy around for an extra turn if needed, but definitely be gaining a little END back. With Gotham Central, your whole field becomes a threat.
Once the row is fixed and in good shape, I'd sub in Babs instead of ahmed personally.
Only reason im not packing connie web is cause unless i have a team up i wouldnt be able to use and redrop alfred(plus with harvey i can either return equips i had to discard or ko equipment so i dont have to make room for eqiupment hate).
the strategy im gong for is do to charcters effects i never have a useless card in hand(i do need to work on my drop numbers)but if you look at the line up it becomes more clear(maxwell dumps locations gordern turns characters into pumps huntress(6)is a negation as well as a back up 6 drop
huntress (4) turns characters into negation and black canary sorta makes a reusable chilly reception)
and thx tchalla once i read your post it clicked in my head that subing charcters removes from play instead of going to ko pile(of course it would have been removed either way cause first ting i grab with aflred is threat Neutralized
If your plan is to redrop alfred turn two or play alfred in those first two turns then playing a 2 drop is very useless. I would make both my one drops a 4 off.
Your locations need some work I think I would play the location gk has that gives +1 attack and range to support row characters a consistent +1 modifier is good IMO and the fact that it doesn't tap makes it even better to use with knightmare scenario. I would also suggest negative zone for hidden hate. Leslie thompson clinic to provide some type of protection for your ahmeed
Now your equipments although laser watch is good and draws a card i don't think its good enough to be played. I think you'd much wrather go with knight armor. I would suggest the fate artifacts but you don't want to play them so i would go with B.P.R.D signal devices and if you can't get the hell boy starter then i would go with spider mobile. A ego gem is also a possible to put on harvey but im not to sure how viable something like that could be.
Your plot twist are a lil shakey I don't think the bat signals are worth it same with the removed from continuity i would go with good cop bad cop ( reinforcment and possible stun backs and target acquired.
Your characters are decent some of the numbers are off IMO i don't think you want any 3 drop to have the same amount of copies as ahmed. He your turn 3 play and he is the deck you want him and him alone. I would drop down to one babs add another kate kane in the five spot Emlination Protocal in the 4 spot. I would drop the dinah laurel for 2 more copies of time drake. I would also drop on huntress for annihilation protocol. I would drop the lady shiva shes just bad really bad and add a babs or a second shasha. I would also play one 8 drop maybe batman since he is on team.
