First, this is not a "meet players here" thread.

What you need to do is go here to download the program "hamachi."

Hamachi is a program you use WITH octgn.
you start up hamachi, and click the power button on the bottom-right of the window. then you press the network button (the middle of the 3 buttons on the bottom-left), click join existing network.

From there, it will ask you to type in the network's name and password.
The one I made for vsrealms is called vsrealms and the password is vsrealms (in case trouble arises, the magic word is vsrealms.)

you can double-click a name to message them. You can even message everyone in the network by right-clicking the groupname.

Now in OCTGN, one player goes to serve game just like normal.
the connecting player takes the number shown with the player's name and types that into the 'connect to' text box.

everything else about octgn is the same. Hamachi just lets people connect to eachother much easier and without the hassle of a website.
You can even block people.

this isnt anything new, it was never that popuaral w/the vsers.

I'm not saying it is new. I was just thinking about the 2 online teams that started a couple years ago and thought "hey, why not do something like that for everyone?"

I for one prefer it to everything else.
