So, we are playing our legends format a little differently. We changed it to modern and you must have at least 12 non-army characters of the same name. No reference B.S. i.e.:
4x Dr. Doom (4 drop)

I decided to run Punisher as my legend with B.P.R.D. support. I'm not going to post the deck now, because I'm running it for the next legend tournament on Wednesday in Ventura, PM me if you want directions and times. Anyways, I get to Metro Comics and see that there is going to be 4 people in our tournament....weak. Anyways, round robin, lets go:

Jon-Legend: Darkseid
Chris-Legend: Wolverine
Mike-Legend: Juggernaut
Me-Legend: Punisher

Round 1:
Jon
So, this game star off smoothly enough, he hits his 2 drop Parademon, I hit Punisher. He throws down Dark Thanigarian on 3, I have Thomas Manning. He pumps his demon and takes down Manning and I KO with Punisher so we each have our threes going into 4. I play Punisher with M-60 and a Power Suit. He plays Dark Martian and subs in a Dark Firestorm, both in the hidden area. I swing in for a bunch, he sends Firestorm in with a pump into Punisher and we both stun and I KO his 3...he then Omega Beams my Punisher! Jerk! Anyways, the game goes down hill for me, I hit Caps on 5, under drop on 6 and not hit anything on 7, where he promptly puts me away.

Round 2:
Mike
This game goes more to my liking. On 3 he has Juggs, swings in. On 4 it's his attack and plays Mystique and names Punisher for her. I play my Punisher on 4 with a couple of equipments. He flips Sniper Shot and puts an aim counter on it. I Flying Kick into Mystique and KO her. On 5 I play Caps. He flips New and Improved and plays Juggs on 5 with a Helmet. He tries to swing into Caps, I negate the stuns and reinforce. On 6 he plays mimic, I play Daredevil, New Kingpin. Stuns happen and I brick wall an attack. On 7 I play Punisher, Angel of Death. He doesn't have anything.

I think I got some things wrong in round 2 after re-reading it....um...well, I'l talk with Mike and edit it later.

Round 3:
Chris
This match was BRUTAL! He takes odds, I wanted evens...it worked out. I don't have a drop on 2, he has Jean and I take 2. On 3, he has Wolverine, I make the choice to get Echo with Wild Ride when I had Thomas Manning in my hand. I pitch Thomas for Weapons Lab and start digging. Chris reminds me I can't use Echo because I need another MK character...well shoot, okay. He throws the claws on Wolverine and Beserker Rage. 21 damage later (Echo stun + Breakthrough + Another 10 ATK + Jean)....ouch. On 4 I have Punisher with equipments, he under drops with Nightcrawler. I Flying Kick on Echo and swing into Jean in the back row. She stuns. I then swing into Wolverine. Stun and KO, I think I get stunned back with either with a Turnabout or a power up. Oh well. Next turn, I have Caps, he has Jean 5 drop, replacing the Jean 2, Jean is now a 12/12. He tries to swing into Caps, I negate the stuns and reinforce with Echo. He then swings Nightcrawler into Punisher with a Big Leagues for the mutual stun, Nightcrawler KO's however. Turn 6 I have Daredevil, he has Storm. He sets up Jean in front of Storm. I swing Daredevil into Jean, stuns. I swing Punisher and Echo into Storm. KO. Caps to the dome. Punisher on 7 is better on defense, even more so against Wolverine 7 drop.

The tie breakers bump me down to 3rd, but I still got a large shirt, 4x Blinks and 4x Wild Childs. Yay. Until next time!
