Over the last 3 years, I've offered up dozens of suggestions. Some of which have found places in the game, others of which have found places in the planning of special opportunities.
Either someone saw value in the ideas (which I offered freely) or my thinking is already frequently inline with UDE planning that hasn't been announced.
I'd gladly telecommute daily, and gladly oversee the delivery of multiple VS updates every week.
I've been working on another system to help organize the distribution of Hobby Leagues kits as well as the instatement of Hobby League stores across the United States, and possibly the world if need be.
Sure, I know this isn't the normal channel for reaching you folks, but I know that this method of contacting you has worked in the past.
If someone out there has it in there heart to put some drive and desire of mine to work for you, I'm yours for the taking.
I'd work for UDE in my spare time for free if it helped keep the information flowing to the people that want it.
I'd rather work for money.
I'd gladly work for product.
Thanks to anyone that has posted kind words. I'll be spending the next couple of days researching a way to get more information on what kind of jobs UDE has available that would fit my needs that would offer up these kinds of opportunities.
I'm not willing to relocate, but my regular job is from 11 at night till 7 in the morning, so between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM I'm available.
Any way, if a UDE persona should see this and could pass along any information that would help me on this endeavor, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks again for VS. Please keep moving forward in game design and don't stop until the game simply cannot be any better than it is ever going to be.
I have not applied officially through the normal means as I'm not looking to relocate to So-Cal.
I never heard anything back from them either way though. Which is sad, kind of especially if you go back through a lot of my old posts and see just how many of my ideas they have implemented over the years.
Promos exclusive to hobby league? Check
Promos exclusive to hobby league that could later be ordered via point redemption so as not to exclude regions where hobby league is lacking? Check
BPRD Signal Device? Check (that's right, it was my suggestion from a while back! Look it up :) )
There are more, mind you, but I hope these have shown that UDE likes at least a percentage of my ideas and suggestions enough to implement them. I know that makes me sound a little egotistical to some, but I don't mind ;) Truth is truth, no mater whether or not it is readily accepted.
I dunno about him, but I sent my information over. At this point, any gaming company that wants me can have me. The race is on, UDE... better get me before EA or Cryptic figures out where the action's at. =D lol
Also, if we're on the topic of ideas being used, WotC still owes me to using my explanations for making their level adjustment system make sense during the Savage Species / 3.5E switch. They used a paragraph chunk verbatim. Hire me, dammit! >_<

T'challa's quote: "Look, I'm humble but, I'm still the best." :)

Then how do you expect them to hire you if you don't apply? They have positions available in Las Vegas too.

I don't mean to bust you up here but did you invent the Internet too? None of your suggestions are unique to only you as I've seen many posters with the same ideas. And you're gonna' take credit for BRPD Signal Device? Man... how foolish do you think we are?
Posting 1000s of suggestions on VSRealms to have a few of them coincidentally implemented by UDE isn't proof for them to hire you. Seriously. If you're really serious, do the following:
1. SUBMIT an APP!! No one is going to go out of their way to contact you, you have to contact them.
2. Have a background in Organized Play or R&D:
a. Have you judged any events at a 10k or higher?
b. Have you TO'd any large events over a few years.
c. Have you been a PTO for any other games?
d. Have you designed any other card games?
e. Have you done consistently well in high level events for any card games?
3. Know someone at UDE who can get you an in.
You have the passion (although that wanes in and out every year) but you need to have more than that to get hired... at the very least... submit an application (did I mention that already?).
