X-Mental is a Tier 1 deck, although few people play it. CM/VU also belongs up top.

DS/Bop Substibuse is tier 1.5
Insanity Tier 2.5

I'd put At Their Finest at 1.5

Not so sure. I think X-Mental lost a lot when War of Attrition and System Failure rotated out of the format.

Checkmate in any form is prety much always a Tier 1.5. C/VU is definitely a 1. The Rock and Press Chess are also up there; though maybe not quite as formidable. C/MK would be better if there was a better way to protect Ahmed. Still, Punisher with Fate Artifacts is pretty silly no matter how you look at it.

Too bad they all lose to Darkseid. :(

What! No love for Doom (Not Moloids)? Even with out RoT its a viable deck. You now have 8 chances to hit doom on 4. Only thing is you need to go with an agro style more than control. Control is still there but less of it. I hear it has a really good combo with Curse of Darkness. Also with cutting the 4 Rot you can tech against QF so you last until turn 4.

I expect to see a lot of rush at our tourny tomorrow. I think Kree/VU will be the most popular in our meta. I don't think we'll see a lot of Check/X or Quicksilver (at least from the regulars) mainly because they hate playing those decks. Aside from rush, I also think we'll see Spider stall, Society and Hellfire. Should be fun either way. I'm not sure what I'll play but I'm leaning towards Kree/VU.

I think X-Mental's game plan has to change a bit. War of Attirtion was soooo good at owning random people, and without it you have to be prepared to actually engage your opponent.

Brotherhood has some very awesome tools for X-Mental in the form of Insignificant Threat and Betrayal. Recurring off-nish stuns are pretty fresh.

I've also seen versions that pwn w/ 8+ DEF pumps.

Kree/VU
Deadshot/X
QuickFate

Deadshot is the nuts I think. KO your three, Fate-Up punisher and go to town? Shoulda spent your twenty at the titty bar.

I think Press Chess is sick too... not sure why it doesn't see more love.

I haven't tested against Moloids but I have heard good things about it - wouldn't be surprised if it is in the upper echelon.

Other than that. Checkmate has a VERY good match up against Quickfate. Like. 70/30 type match up if played and teched right.
