Well, inspite of the play errors that popped up in my LMS mini-series of articles on VSSYSTEM.COM, I've had quite a bit of positive feedback about the idea.
I was planning on doing it again when DC Legends comes out (and I still will) but people seemed to really like the idea. What I want to know from you guys is this - would you like me to do another set of LMS articles before DC legends?
Perhaps another round of Marvel, then DC Legends, followed by another round of DC. Then pit the four LMS champions into an Ultimate showdown?
I would love a new last man standing tournament. Maybe instead of doing mainly mono team builds you should pair up the legends with some teams that can really abuse their abilities. Make a Jean Grey Secret Society or Underworld team-up,or make a Human Torch Revenge Squad -Def deck. You could even throw Spiderman or the Batman/superman deck just for something diffrent.
Great, great articles. Please continue the articles with DC & a top 4 vs top 4 kind of thing too. My only suggestion is to keep all the decks Silver Age.

I think it would be great but now you've got a feel for the legends I'd love to see it with more refined builds. Make them all silver age and allow multi-team decks. Perhaps you could ask for submissions, then pick your favorute 8 decks and take us through another fantastic set of articles.
I did like the LMS a lot :) But I think it would be cool to have a DC vs Marvel one (after or before DC Legends), just as it would be nice to say "Who would win, Batman or Spiderman?" etc.
I enjoyed the articles and would definately like to see more of them.
Yeah, Marvel Legends silver with slightly less stingent deck building constriants would be fine (as long as there were no repeat match ups). Maybe look at the other casual formats like BYOS & Ego.
If you would do another one before DCL came out that would be great! I don't want you to start teaming up, stay mono team, and keep it thematic like you did in the last.
Mono team jean Grey can do really well but so can a berserking 4 drop MK deck. My friend has played mono Jean and it can be SICK (Has anyone heard how much I HATE telepathic suppression?) Berserking 4 drop wolverine can win on 4 with a good draw. Original Fantastic four beats can be fun and thematic. I liked the ghost rider build.
Stay close to mono team or only use team ups like 198. Thematic!
I loved to read the coverage because as each card was played, another panel was added to the mini comic book.
That was the biggest difference between this and event coverage. Not one EoME was played and that made me happy...
Did I say I loved the series?
If you need ANYTHING, if I can help in any form please let me know!!!
I thought it was a cool feature. If you want to do it again with DC Legends, however, I'd suggest
* making the decks Silver Age legal
* possibly asking for fan input on a couple of them
Not that your builds were bad, but I certainly would have enjoyed it more if I felt that the decks were more focused. They don't all have to be tournament winners, but it'd be nice if they were "the best version" of said Legend Deck, as agreed upon by you and the fans. Then the games would feel more epic.
I definitely agree that if possible, it would be cool if you got input on decklists. Of course, this would take lots of time to do, so it's pefectly understandable if that won't work with your schedule. Either way, I'm sure some tighter decklists would be nice.
As for suggestions of which Marvel Legends you should do (assuming Silver Age):
Definitely:
Human Torch
Cable
Spider-Man
Possibly:
Silver Surfer?
Black Bolt?
Dr. Strange?
Hulk?
