OK guys, it seems, from the feedback I've been receiving, that you want the series to continue, so here's my plan. I will run another Marvel LMS series now, a new series for the DC Legends expansion and then another DC LMS.
Then, the winners will face off for an ultimate showdown. LMS 1 champion - Jean Grey will face the winner of LMS 2. Then the two DC winner will square off. That will give us a Marvel vs DC grand finale.
What I want from you guys are decks. Please submit a decklist for use in the tournament (you'll obviously get full props). At the moment, I just want lists for the Marvel barcket, so here are the rules.
Build a Legend format rules apply. (silver age - 12 cards etc, etc)
You may not use Jean Grey.
Your Legend must be a Marvel character
You may use DC cards - as long as the legend is Marvel.
Please include a paragraph or two detailing your deck. Oh, and whilst I will accept any entry, I'm going to smile more favourably on the more original and fun builds. You can list your decks here, PM me or Email me (kamiza(at)the-kamiza.com
12 Multiple Man ◊ Jaime Madrox
6 Multiple Man, Army Madrox
4 Sabretooth, Age of Apocalypse

Plot Twists

Mulligan for a Team-up or Future Technology, then play Characters as you like (owen and zazz are good if they com out early) Equip the Future Tech to Sabertooth.Activate sabertooth, Suicide the multiple men into a character, RFG bring more in. (burn for an additional 2 burn). Sabertooth readies. Rinse and repeat. Fun fun fun.
If you're gonna run a Multiple Man deck...run a COOL one! ;)
Gladiator Games
14 - Multiple Man <> Madrox
6 - Multiple Man
2 - Archangel
4 - Lillandra
4 - Gladiator
4 - Time Breach
4 - Fastball Special
4 - To Me My X-Men
4 - Enemy of My Enemy
4 - Sneak Attack
4 - Mutopia
2 - X-Corp Amsterdam
4 - Ego Gem
Ok, you flood the field with MM and an Archangel to grab X-Corp Amsterdam. Activate Amsterdam to get Mutopia in the row before turn 4. Drop Lilandra and team-up. Turn 5 you drop Gladiator. Exhaust at least 2 characters before you attack with Gladiator. Once the attack is legal, play Sneak Attack then activate Lilandra on Gladiator so he re-readies and gains his +1/+1 powers. Then attack again. This time play To Me My X-Men. Wash, rinse, repeat.
I have yet to play it, I'm going to run it at the next Modern HL. I figure if I can make it to turn 5 with 3MM and Lilandra I should be able to attack 3 times with a huge, unstunnable Gladiator.
If you can fill your hand enough(owen mercer) Then you could stun a couple of multiple men to bring some more in. 3 multiple men is a rather conservative gues by my thinking.
Because wolverine is imo the best new legend, doom dosent count because reprinting boris doomstadt paralisis is weak.
4x jean grey- teen telepath
4x bishop- aoa
4x morph exile
1x wolverine-logan
1x sunfire aoa
1x jean grey- aoa
2x wolverine- aoa
4x rogue-power absorbition
3x wolverine-bub
1x blink-aoa
1x mimic-exile
1x professor x- worlds most powerful telepath
4x healing factor
4x amanantium claws
4x beserker rage
4x mobilize
4x sneak attack
3x to me my x-men
4x flying kick
4x turnabout
Hardcore mulligan for aoa bishop, heres the ideal curve with odds.
turn 2 bishop go get wolverine 4
turn 3 morph
turn 4 rogue aoa
turn 5 wolverine bub
rogue copies morph so you have 4 guys even without any recovery cards on 5, wolverine does a million with youre 7 press the attack cards and 8 for the turn pumps. bub does a million but the 4 drop is really good for draws without 2+ recovery cards, sunfire + children of the atom at the end of combat kills off curve.

That looks like non-stop fun. I've been loving Gladiator, and Lilandra, throughing int To Me My X-Men only adds to my excitment.
BTW, Do we get anything if our deck is picked or wins???? probobly not but heres mine anyway.
4 Bishop AoA
2 Jean Grey Teen Telepath
3 Wolverine Logan
4 Xorn Shen Xorn
4 Wolverine AoA
2 Emma Frost Ice Queen
4 Blink AoA
2 Wolverine Best at what he does
2 Collosus Living Steel
1 Mimic exile
2 Wolverine Bloodlust
1 Juggernaught unstoppable
4 X men Assemble
4 Mobilize
2 Vicarious Living
4 Slaughter Swamp
4 CotA
4 Berzerker Rage
3 healing factor
2 xavier’s institue of higher learning
3 bprd signal device
The whole point is realy just to get as many counters as posssible, especialy on AoA wolverine, hopfully making your board to big to handle. Most of the wolverines are just in there to discard for the 4 drop but can be played if nessisary, the 5 is probobly the only other one I'd plan on playing, but thats why the Viciarious' are in there. Probobly should mulligan for bishop and/or assemble. Take odds, this will allow you to get the most out of your wolverine and blink for that matter.
There's more details about the deck here, but the basic idea is this:
2: Black Cat, ideally with ESU in the row and a Mind Gem (evade and bounce the Gem if necessary)
3: Punisher w/ M60s (mulligan hard for Punisher)
4: Human Torch
5: Valentina and Toyman OR Sub-Mariner OR Namorita and Random
6: Mimic
The idea here is to use Punisher, Valentina, Random and the Firewalls to lower the opponent's DEF, then activate Torch to stun one opposing character and/or use Heat Wave to stun everyone else. Heat Waves should be played from the hand so you can recur them with Toyman + a draw effect, Sub-Mariner, or Namorita. Mimic can copy either Torch or Punisher, usually Punisher. When the deck works, you will stun their entire field on every turn starting on 4, and at some point you will have enough of a board that you can finish them off by attacking.
Level 12s are mainly to get rid of Cloak of Nabu, BPRD Signal Device, and Juggernaut's Helmet. Pretty much everything else is for drawing, tutoring, or recurring cards from the KO pile.
Odd init is best, since you get to attack with 8 ATK Punisher on 3, but other than that the deck doesn't care, because after 3 your opponent should never get to attack again.
The deck I made for the Legends event and then didn't have the guts to play:

It's kinda hard to give a game plan for an Insanity deck... mostly you just play whatever cards show up. But I'll offer some general tips:
1. Always mulligan for Beside Myself, Ruin, or Richards' Rival. Ilsa Hauptman with an otherwise awesome hand is borderline acceptable.
2. Duela Dent is your emergency plan for getting the Arkham affiliation. If you have Beside Myself but no Arkham character, sub her in.
3. The deck has a ton of search-- use it wisely to toolbox for solutions. Important toolbox cards include Scarecrow, Two-Face, Joker, and Grodd.
4. This is a board control deck, first and foremost. Don't use your pumps to do breakthrough. Use them to get stuns, and then kick the characters off the board.
