As much fun as we're having with the Marvel Universe voting and discussion, I'd be curious as to what people would want/expect if we get the chance to do the same thing in a DC Universe set.
So, with that in mind, I've prepared a list of DC Story-arcs that we could conceptually get to vote from should we get the same chance to do this with a DC Universe expansion set.
Please tell me anything you don't think should be on the list, anything you think should be that isn't, and, of course, why.

All of the Marvel choices were pretty recent events. Some were still in progress and one hadn't even started yet.
Too Old:
No Man's Land
One Million
Invasion!
Zero Hour
I would include Final Crisis. If Secret Invasion was a choice for Marvel Universe, the next big DC crossover would probably be an option. Plus it'll probably be started by the time we get a chance to vote. Amazons Attack (even though it stunk) is big enough and recent enough to be an option as well. In place of No Man's Land, I'd suggest the Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul.
My vote would be for Countdown (even though I don't like it). In Countdown, you could include elements of 52, Amazons Attack, the Sinestro Corp War, Final Crisis, Death of the New Gods (who desperately need to be refeatured) etc.
It's rumored that DC One Million will tie into Final Crisis. So, a Final Crisis set could probably include everything I mentioned for a Countdown set + DC One Million.
Countdown is leading to Final Crisis, and one of the elements of Crisis is the Challengers stuff, which pretty much touches on the 52 universes AND the Booster Gold stuff, which touches on all the time traveling stuff.
Since there are basically two "multiverses" for DC ... there are 52 'alternate presents' but there are also pasts and futures that, even when they are all on "New Earth" ... there are alternate futures, and Booster is encountering people trying to alter the time stream, etc].
If DC Universe is oversized ... something that touches on the stuff being covered by Countdown and Final Crisis would hit everything. Since Countdown is happening around the same time as the other comics, it's actually allowing every storyline/crossover to go into it's book ... sort of like an anti-crossover event. Instead of having much of it's own storyline ... it's the starting point of a bunch of spin off books that focus on specific storylines as well as a "all in one" book to state what everyone is doing ... a recap show of the entire DCU, but with different angles and some stuff you didn't see in the other issues.
Since the start of the game I've wanted to see No Man's Land versions of the Inmates and Gotham Knights. Honestly though, I can't see it being a full set. Possibly a Giant Size Vs set though where you're fighting for control of parts of Gotham instead of planets. Same thing with the Hush storyline. I'd love to see all the characters portrayed in that storyline but don't think it'd fit a whole set.
Marvel Family
Infinity Inc.
Intergang
Great Ten
Metal Men
Rann / Time Masters?
Countdown:
New Gods
Darkseid's Elite
Rogue's
Amazons
Challengers of the Beyond
Um. 52 wins.
-Run
Here are team affiliations I could see coming out of a Countdown set:
New Gods
Green Lantern
Anti-Matter (Sinestro Corp)
Darkseid's Elite
Amazons
Speed Force
Rogues
Challengers of the Beyond
Shadowpact
Suicide Squad
Monarch (or Crime Sydicate or Lord Havoc and the Extremists)
I would do terrible things to friends or enemies for a 52 set. It would probably work better as a mini-set, though, as most of the teams are small and lesser-known.
