I want to try and beat Galactus with Modern Age before anything else. I hear a lot of people want to try and beat with Golden age, I think thats a cop out. What age/deck/strategy will you try to beat "The Man" with?
Silver is the 'standard' ... you can include Crisis and thus get the JSA involved. JSA and Outsiders both give you options for going up curve, which against Galacuts, doesn't require you go OFF curve to do it.
Single set would be the most challenging, Modern would be second, followed by Silver, and finally Golden. Galactus has the same cards no matter what, so the more cards the Alliance has access to, the better it is for them.

What's least useful....a post containing obvious (to some) points, or a post pointing out how obvious another posts point was (and adding nothing else)...?
(or a third post, doing the same thing to the second...)
Im thinking the first time we play through just play the galactus deck as is and then play whatever you want against it. Most of the deck we have built are casual so I dont think they will win. Then they can play silver til they beat it at which point I could customize Galactus to beat them and so on.

Actually it was sarcasm, I guess I have to go back to using blue for people who think they can point out how useless a useless post can be while showing that they too have made a useless post. Wow, so many s'.
