Which is better: Call in a Favor, or Strategic Thinking?
Call in a Favor
? cost
Plot Twist
Each player may discard a card. If he does, he may search his deck for a character card that shares an affiliation with that card, reveal it, and put it into his hand.

Strategic Thinking

Plot Twist
Whenever a character enters play this turn put a +1/+1 counter on it.

Which is better?
I vote for Strategic Thinking, since I can flip three for Tattooed Man, and grab five AGL at +7/+7 each.
Does anyone know the threshold cost of Call in a Favor?
isnt stragetic thinking memembership drive but worse? anyway they arent really comparable because they do totally different things, but call in a favor will see far more play.
Strategic Thinking would also be decent in a deck built to abuse New And Improved, such as the Lois Lane deck. Having said that, the list of decks in which it is worth running at all is extremely short.
Call in a Favor, on the other hand, will likely see play in a great many mono-team curve decks as copies 5-8 of Mobilize. It's not nearly as good, but for teams like Revenge Squad and X-Men that have no good team-stamped tutor, Call in a Favor levels the playing field somewhat against teams that can run 8 good tutors (e.g., F4 with Signal Flare and MK with Wild Ride). Obviously, it also serves as a less expensive substitute for budget-minded folks who can't afford 4 copies of Mobilize.
I really really like Stategic Thinking but Call in a Favor is gonna be the lick. I mean just look at the art! LOL! it's just what Spidey needed to find that elusive Scarlet Spider. But I can't wait to put Strategic Thinking into my Kree deck!
Yeah but if I put out 10 or 15 7/7 AGL's on five or six that's gonna suck for you.
Nice draw ;) I like the card for ww3 type decks, but to really make a difference you need multiple copies and you cant search it out. It has places in some decks like with the 5 drop apoc maybe and tatoo man but overall I dont like it. The mobilize card is obv worse than mobilize but like the other guy said its mobilize # 5-8 for some teams, and its also very very helpful for decks with a lot of teams. When enemy rotates out this will be the closest thing to it, being able to get a charector with a team you dont actually control yet, and being able to play off team guys in a mono team deck is very hard with just mobilize but you can with call in a favor. Anyway thoughts on the " whenever target charector recovers this turn the owner takes 4 " card? its a counter ( in multiples ) to the venom type decks, but does it make the future foes bully theme doable? I can reasonably see 1 copy burning for 12 damage in that deck.
