Title pretty much says it all. X-Men have been my favorite comic book team since forever and I have always wanted to make amazing decks with them. I have plenty of them, but when I saw this card after coming out of my VS System Comma I realized that it had amazing potential and could be the focal point of a Recovery based deck. Any ideas. This can be Golden, Silver, Modern. I would actually prefer all three. Thanks in advance for your help.
Or: you could abuse Havok 4 drop to stun your own characters. Using CotA, and Phoenix Rising.
Or: you can build a X-Men/Horsemen team-up deck. Use Survival and X-Men Assemble with weenie team attack tricks, Madrox army characters and Ultimate Sacrifice.
Or: Madrox army characters, Flame Trap and Ultimate Sacrifice.
Not to mention Morph has fun with this card, also.
Muir Island Recovers Xorn who pays to recover Prof X who pays to draw a card to replace the discard of Muir. Wolvie recovers for free. Choose Colossus to recover as normal recovery. Everyone gets counters. I don't bother running 7 or higher because I can usually win by 6. If not I recover Colossus with xorn and pay to make him the size of a 7 drop.
The biggest problem (if you can call it a problem) I run in to with the deck is that my characters often get so big they don't stun and thus prevent me from recovering them to get any bigger.
Maybe some PT's that lower def and raise attack.
That's the core of my Immortal X-Men deck. Havok can be fun on 4 too.
The Batman has got it pretty much covered (except I like Havok instead of Prof X on 4).
You can also play Harry's Hideaway (better than Healing Factor IMHO), Turnabout, and pretty much every card cycler in the format (Cerebro, Worthington Industries, X-Corp Suite).
My recommendation is to focus on the basic curve of Bishop/Xorn/Havok/Wolverine/Colossus, and add in some cards like Harry's Hideaway, Muir Island, Children of the Atom, and even Revitalize to go crazy with X-Men Assemble Tricks.
You could even throw in a Deadshot/Scandal combo just to search out more X-Men Assembles.

Your guys are so big they don't stun? That doesn't seem like a problem to me?
I don't find I ever need any additional recovery than what I included. In fact COTA is really just there as a counter to finishing move type cards. Healing Factor was actually not part of the core engine but I included it because I was typing too fast. I run it because I like to pull berserker rage antics on Wolverine.
I actually beliebe Bub to be easier to play around. Plus, he would be taking up the spot for Havok, and you would need a new 5 drop. And Cyke does not help with your plans.
