Does she clear your opponents board of all characters with that cost?
Does she trigger herself?
Card text
"Whenever Koriand'r stuns a character, you may stun another character with the same cost as that character."
It looks like she should trigger her own ability to me.
Note it is a "may" effect though and you don't have to choose an opposing character with it so you can stun some, none or all other characters of the same cost regardless of who cotrols them...
I think a spider friends team up might be interesting, I can feel my
Spider-Sense Tingling!
The source of a stun effect is the card that produced it, either as part of it's cost, or as it's effect. For example, characters that evade are considered to have stunned themselves, and if you use Roy Harper to stun someone, then Roy Harper is the source of the stun.
Just as Sentinel Mk 7 can stun a whole bunch of characters who all happen to have the lowest cost on the field, so Kory can end up clearing a field of a whole bunch of characters that have the same cost, since her effect is the source of the stun.
I'm rather surprised but xJason is right about this one... I've personally always assumed these kind of effects only trigger once as they clearly state that "you" are the origin of the stun effect but apparently this is not correct.
From the MVL FAQ: Sentinel Mark VII, Repurposed
Character, 6, Brotherhood, 13/12
While you control Magneto, whenever Sentinel Mark VII stuns another character, you may stun target character with the lowest cost among characters its controller controls.
The target doesn't need to be the only character controlled by that player with that cost, as long as no character controlled by that player costs less (including stunned characters.) Stunning a target causes this power to re-trigger, so ultimately it’s possible to stun all the lowest-cost characters a player controls. However, if you stun a character this way, there’s never an opportunity to KO that character in such a way that you can aim the re-trigger effect at a higher-cost character (because it is targeted.)
As the wording of the effect is the same on Koriandr she can in fact stun every character of that cost.
So watch out army decks. And giving her evasion would be pretty silly as well depending she can evade to stun your opponents five drop(s)...
One caveat to all this is that if she stuns as part of combat, she will only trigger once.
Lets say you attack your opponent's 5/5 3-drop, and he controls 3 three drops.
If Koriand'r doesn't stun as part of the attack, she'll trigger when she stuns the 3 drop, when that trigger resolves it will stun another 3-drop, then when that 3 stuns, she'll trigger again, etc.
If your opponent plays nasty surprise, and Koriand'r stuns as part of combat, then she will trigger upon the mutual stun, and her trigger will go on the stack. However, when that trigger resolves, Koriand'r will be stunned (barring any recovery tricks), and she will not trigger again from the new 3-drop being stunned.
