I'm stuck at work, with no one able to relieve me from my shift and I feel like hot hell and tabasco sauce. I want to work on a deck for the Legends tournament in Stockton next weekend, but I'm just not feeling well at all at the moment.

My wife's god forsaken ####ing IG hand punishment deck vs. my Darkset's elite substibuse(Created from hate... why will you not appear in my legion packs?) It's turn 6. She hit her perfect curve: Rogue, Circe, Mimic. I have 12 cards in my hand, and a hefty 33 endurance. 3 of the cards in my hand: Pathetic Attempt. She's toast. VICTORY IS A COMBAT PHASE AWAY!

So Combat begins. I can't substitute to kill her resources anymore. The woman, this woman in I've entrusted my heart to, the person in this world above whom all I can trust, who I've pledged lifelong fealty and loyalty, for whose happiness I would sacrifice anything, who I care about more than anyone save my daughter, flips Omnipotence naming Pathetic Attempt. I burn for 36. I swing hard and fast into her, an act of desperation not oft seen from my side of the board. I drive hard and fast, aiming for the callous betrayer's bitter, brittle coal heart. She's at -2... I'm at -3. Tears flow from my eyes like a delicious summer wine to her...

I have yet to forgive her for that.

Nice. Those are the kinds of games that'll keep her coming back for more though. The tales of narrowly escaping defeat at your hands only to eek out the win instead.

She's actually the reason I'm playing. I fell out of the loop when hippie rob fell off the face of the planet. She was getting tired of L5R all the time, and DCL came out. A release tourney later, she's bringing stuff to my attention I'd never thought of.

I still hate her for that game, though. I WAS SO GODDAMN CLOSE!

Um Kenpachi go read Omnipotence again, it can only be played during the build phase.

She says she swears I have the order wrong, and she flipped it at the proper time. I disagree, but I'll let her defend her cheating when she's done with the dishes.

By the way: That's not a sexist comment. She seriously is doing dishes while I'm at work, and thusly I'm on her account defending her heinous cheating. CHEATING!

I'm married to the best woman ever. She's waiting for me to get home from work, and as such is taking care of the chores I missed earlier while she waits. She also plays IG hand abuse and Wolverine legends decks, Mantis RA and Dragon Monk MST decks.

Edit: The funny thing, when most people call their wives cheaters, they mean she broke marital vows. When I say it I mean she played a Plot twist outside the defined window of legality. I seriously have the best wife EVER. Don't tell her I said that, though. She'll get lippy about it.
