Ok here's the deal. I need some ideas. i made these three for a start, but i need ideas for other cards and effects. Mainly the joes. I have cobra pretty set out as army based with the regular rogue gallery as higher drops.
Nice, I was talking about this very idea just the other day with my hobby group. Transformers as well, but well, rights for that are owns elsewhere for card games
Nice idea. I guess your plot twists will look something like "Target <cobra sign> character gets..." or something, and you let your cards look for those kind of cards in your resource row.
Problem is, it's just your normal way of playing. You mainly put your plot twists into your resource row anyways to play them from there. So look out for not getting outbalanced because you will receive tremendous bonus with just normal play.
The Revenge Squad, with their similar theme, don't have TOOOOO good ongoing plot twists either AND those cannot be played from the hand mainly, but they concentrate on the characters.

If you'll note that all the cobra characters have a Cobra emblem in the text box behind all the text, like the hellboy essential collection, these are the logo the cobra commander cards refer to. So you get bonuses for using cards from the collection in your deck.
The idea behind Cobra Commander is the more Cobra is on the board his ego gets bigger and in turn his strength grows.
Have you made any Dreadnoks yet? I can see Zartan being something like this:

Recruit Zartan only to an opposing player's side.
At the Start of the Combat Phase you may move Zartan.
