For those of you that were around for the thread "How will Thor be represented in Marvel Universe" This may be of some interest.

Read the Call Down the Lightning Series on my blog(check Sig) which has summary reviews with comic scans and you will get a better understanding of how we are trying to create cards.

We will be playing a Little Catch up over the next month, but here are the first two card ideas:

Mjolnir
Cost 3
Unique
Game Text: Mjolnir cost 3 less to equip to a character named Thor.
Equipped character receives +3ATK while Attacking.
Equipped character gets +3DEF while Defending.
Flavor Text: "We are two children of Mjolnir."
RARE

Name: Thor, Rebirth (Awakening)
Cost: 4
Type: Character
Team: Asgardians
ATK:8 DEF:6
Flight/Range: (?)Both
Game Text: Option (?)
Flavor Text: "And birth, like death, comes only through great pain."
UNCOMMON

Option 1
When Thor comes into play, you may discard a character card >> Search your deck or KO pile for a card name Mjolnir. Put that card into your hand. Cosmic-Surge.

Option 2
Remove a Cosmic Counter from Thor >> Search your deck or KO pile for a card named Mjolnir. Put that card into your hand. Cosmic-Surge.

Option 3
Activate, Discard a character card. Search your deck or KO pile for a card named Mjolnir. Put that card into your hand. Cosmic-Surge.

These are Draft versions, Let try and pound some out.

For those that helped create the CLOR card it is up on the blog.

In order for it to be completely flavorful it should only be able to be equipped to Thor or someone that has gained the identity of Thor. Another cool idea would be if the hammer was not destroyable and would just return to your hand as opposed to going into the KO pile that way all the deck with equipment hate for Punisher and Quicksilver would have less of an impact on Thor and Mjnolir.

As for Thor, I do like the idea of Thor searching for Mjolnir but the way it was done with the searching in MAV wasn't that horrible either.

On the Flight Range idea ... perhaps he has flight naturally, and the hammer gives him range [because he throws the hammer OR he uses the hammer to call the lightning].

Another idea, in the "Zeitgeist" vein ... perhaps Mjolnir is built into the character ... with a cosmic-surge ability, you get "back" your hammer each turn, although you may lose it if someone stuns you while you are waiting to get it back.

For a thor theme, there could definitely be a few cards like Beta Ray Bill and Clor that have the ident Thor who can also weild the hammer, then you have a card that shows Cap weilding the hammer and it can be a card that searches out Mjnolir and gives a character the ident of Thor so that it can be equipped with it.

Damn Walter you had much time to thiink about these. I like all of those, especially the Plot twist one.

While you Control Thor, opposing Characters in The Front Row get -1 Def and Opposing Characters in the Support Row get -1 Attack.

I really Like Row Manipulation as a Theme, I wish ift would get used more often, poor Storm Weather Witch is such a powerful card, and she sees so little play because shes GA only.

Ok i'm not sure mad titan is this for CS Thor creations or my own.

Our's are a little different.

Mine is creating them by the current content in THOR series being written now. The creations I started were in tune with series releases and pulling content from those pages.

Clor was the warm up.

Row Manipulation could be a Team Theme idea though.
