I heard marvel is doing another movie on the Punisher.I seen the trailer it looks great.I like the actor that play Frank Castle/Punisher in the first movie but they got a new guy playing him.The first actor that play Punisher look more serious than the new guy.

The trailers on youtube aren't legit.

The Punisher is now played by Ray Stevenson in place of Thomas Jane. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet.

I hate it when they change actors from one movie to the next, still I read an article about it (don't recall where) and apparently the change in actor was due to the fact that the new movie has nothing to do with the first one.

I think it is rather ridiculous since Jane was quoted saying<in Wizard> that he had been tapped for a sequel and is excited about what was in store for his character.

But on another note, Marvel is doing movies in house instead of farming them out.

I think Jane (and the director?) had a clause in their contract that allowed them to walk away from the sequel if they didn't like the script.

And here we are with a new actor and script...I am not excited about this movie, but it does feature JIGSAW. On the other hand, Tom Jane's Punisher wasn't as bad as Hulk....hrm.

I thought the first Punisher movie was boring - and I liked Ang Lee's Hulk, so you know I can withstand some slowness - and the second isn't looking much better from what I've seen. There have been multiple rather public spats about the script between various writers, the actors, director, etc.... That's what caused Jane to walk, and then a little while after, the guy who wrote much of the original script took his name off the project.

Jane walked cause he was tired of waiting on the movie to get started. I was a @#$%ing rollercoaster to try and get off the ground. Anyway, I'm psyched because it's based off MAX, and I love me some Punisher MAX.

Dude,The thing on youtube is legit and you can go to marvel to check it out. I still say the first actor in the Punisher look more serious and had that edge look to play as the Punisher instead of this new actor.
