I'm trying to get everything straightened out for this weekend, including booking a hotel room.

So the question I have is, is it feasible to book a hotel room outside of Brooklyn and then taking a train/bus to the store? I'm asking because the hotels in Brooklyn are getting up there in price. Would it be a good idea to say, book a hotel at JFK (where I'm flying into) and then bussing it down there for both days? Or is there somewhere else I should look at as well?

Yeah that's a good question. We ended up renting a 3br appartment to save bread.

I am so hunting down the cash cab while we are there. :p

Got any room left in the apartment that you'd be willing to share? I'd compensate you obviously...just trying to cut costs.

Probably if you don't mind where you sleep, I think we're at 5 and the place says it can handle like 8 or 9. American Maid is (as usual) running the show, we have it F,S,S as we fly in Friday and out Monday.

I think I might....but would full frontal be even better? If so I'm there.

I'd only be there for Friday and Saturday nights. I fly in on Friday night, unfortunately not getting in until 12:00 am or so (the curses of an 8-5 on Friday) and then leave Sunday at 8. I'm using up my vacation time later this month going to Canada so I didn't want to take Monday off.

It is feasible the only problem is the hotel you get should be close to the train. Some of the hotels are far away from the train station. You are porbably looking at an hour train ride if that.
