Take your favorite and/or best Golden Age deck, deconstruct it, and see exactly "how golden" it is by listing how many cards in it are from which sets.
(For cards in multiple sets, just go ahead and use the listing on the version you actually have in the deck)
My fave golden age deck is 100% golden. I still love the original EMS for sheer power and fun factor (it took a friggin degree to play that deck correctly). While New School helped with a lot of the heavy lifting, I can't get around using old school team ups and the different enabling tools that it played. The fact that it top 8'd two straight 10k's is pretty amazing in my opinion.
Favorite Deck of All Time For Me = New School 100% Golden
Favorite Deck To Play With At This Time = Hulk Stall 1% Golden (4x Acrobatic Dodge) If I had to make it silver I would play 4x Dirty Tricks in the place of 4x Acrobatic Dodge.
DCR=56 (all out of the JSA block of cards, this sucker practically built itself, it's rare-free and works very well)
My latest idea I've enjoyed is a mono-Brotherhood, all-Marvel-card deck around Lost City (had to go over the drops in several sets so that I had at least 5 of almost every character in the deck, to help fuel powering-up):
MOR=11
MXM=8
MXS=6
MHG=4
MVL=31
On a related note, I like how the cards in even the most recent sets can still have relevance to stuff that's now only in Golden Age...I'm itching to get my hands on 4xShe-Hulk Smash so I make a deck around Green Jeans (I've already worked out a design combo'ing her and some other F4s with GA X-Men, who had some good support row hate).

Amazing. I deconstructed my cards to their base forms, and found that my golden age deck contained absolutely no gold, with only trace amounts of silver. I'm less wealthy than I originally believed.
