I gotta say, Flying Kick was the best part. Other than that, the set came in a nice package, and the counters and art that came with it were awesome.

All of the above.

Outside of the full size sets themselves, it's the best thing they have produced for VS.

I actually just picked up the collector's DVD set of the two animated movies, complete with Hellboy action figure. Now I get to see the movies AND have a disproportionate red dude on my desk at work freaking out my coworkers!

All around that was one of the best CCG products I've had in my hot little hands. Great art, awesome strategy and very well done. For the impact it had in D/FW, note that BlindSided had "I Hate Pancakes" as his sig for quite a while.

At the time, I liked the BPRD signal device and zinco the best. With quickfate being big, zinco was there for some meh-ish neutering, great for HoG/Inh to last long enough to eat 'em up.

Actually no. The next PCQ that they were legal, I made a damn nazi deck and a friend of mine piloted it to a 3-4 finish.

The first real legend was hellboy.


i mean doom sorta had it. but he never had a ready target doom character.

Hellboy got me my first money finish ever in this game.

Break off the Horns

It's what I used in my Nightmare Scenario deck at Worlds (Silver): changed out to many cards at the last second for it be consistent, but Hellboy as Wolverine is wicked when it hits.

Agreed, to all those who say it is the best TCG product of all time.

Unfortunately, in my humble opinion, Hellboy II: The Golden Army does not measure up.

The first Hellboy movie is my favorite comic book film. The new one not so much.

Oh well.
