While there are reservists in this deck, I don't feel it's a "reservist deck." The usage of Avengers Assemble and some gimmics make it much more control-ish. They really do have quite the control lineup.
Now, before I post the list let me get a couple points across. First, I'm not expecting ANY Doom. Whether or not I should, well you just keep that to yourself because it is now no longer relevant to the thread. Point two, everyone is expecting me to play SF for BYOT. I figured I'd try to make something at least FEEL like SF, hence the giftwraps. Everything in the deck is from stuff I own (hence only one mobilize). I am expecting rush, and I think that covers all the pre-deck spillage talk.

The nitty gritty: I'm sure you have a couple questions. Why Carrying the Torch? Sure it's nice with stars and stripes / Avengers Assemble, but that's not it. It allows me to break uniqueness, and that's going to be important. If I'm being swarmed, then being able to CtT hawkeye 3 to be hawkeye/X and then recruiting Hawkeye 4, I now have a ton of off-initiative control right? Here's another awesome interaction; I could go off-curve and play 2 quicksilvers very easily. Team attacking into an entire board (help from legendary battles) is very, very good.
I'm sure I've overlooked something or another, as this is just the 2nd draft of the deck. If you have a suggestion, cool. If you like it and want to give me feedback, that's very cool too.

don't worry, even though you accidentally deleted your suggestions I saw them & I remember (to all it was about going one theme or another, combo vs control).
While CDtL is good, I don't want to risk replacing into my leaders (cap/wasp). Otherwise I would. And the quicksilver thing, for the deck to be centered around his power the deck would have to be very different; I'm expecting to play hawkeye more anyways.
Yeah you're right. My character count is a little low. I'll work on it.
I think you should go more with the reservist stuff. Above the Law Call down and Heroes in Reserve is very good. I also think wonder man five is a better 6 drop then Luke Cage or Captain America. Also I think Spider-friends is a little bit better Clone Spider man could be type broken.

Liberating # 42, now say it with me. Liberating # 42
i definatly agree with wonder man on 6...only other change i could maybe suggest is to think about ares on 6 as well...any breakthrough is doubled seems like it could be nice....hope the deck works out for you
So, I just played it with a few changes (mostly because I made the deck in a hurry).
Most notably, Wonderman 5 MUN Shield/Avengers is AMAZING. Also, I like sleeper cells. I double- sleeper celled my opponent on 6 his init running TNB and I tore him apart on 7.
I missed on 6 so it didn't matter.
I noticed synergy between Iron Man 4 and characters in play via Avengers Assemble, which is very cool.
The thing with this build is I wanted to go the leader route, and while the reservist build is retadad powerful, idk. If testing goes bad I'll switch to reservists no problem.
Rick Jones is pretty cool. Enabling team attacks ftw!
