I have a question regarding an interaction between The Enemy Within and Spider-Man, Zombie.
The Enemy Within
Plot Twist, Ongoing, Cost: 2
Ongoing: At the start of the recovery phase, if three or more Doom characters entered your KO'd pile this turn, you may put one of those cards from your KO'd pile into your front row exhausted. If you do, remove from the game all other character cards in your KO'd pile that entered there from play this turn.
[Activate], KO Spider-Man -> Target player exhausts a ready character he controls. At the start of the recovery phase this turn, return Spider-Man from his owner's KO'd pile to play under your control. Use only during the combat phase.
Let's say I have Spider-Man, Zombie and 2 other characters in play and have teamed up Spider-Friends and Doom. If I use Spider-Man's activated power and also KO the other 2 characters for some effect, can I get back both Spider-Man and another of the other characters only having to remove 1 from the game in the recovery phase?
I think I would need to do it like this but am not sure.
Start of recovery--> put Enemy Within effect on chain, then put Spider-Man's effect on chain
Resolve Spider-Man's effect & return him to play.
Resolve Enemy Within's effect putting one character KO'd this turn into play exhausted and then remove from the game the other character KO'd this turn.
Is this the correct way to do it? I take it to mean if Spider-Man Zombie is no longer in the KO'd pile when Enemy Within resolves that he cannot be removed from the game. Thanks for the help.
