“Boost” is a keyword that represents a continuous power that functions in any zone the character it’s on can be played from, and a second continuous power that functions while that character is in play. The phrase “Boost <cost>: <text>” means, “To play, you may pay <cost>." and "<text> is active only if this card was played this turn and <cost> was paid for it." Active text generates powers as normal; inactive text is treated as if it did not exist. All boost costs are expressed in resource points unless noted otherwise. The phrase "Boost—<cost>: <text>" means the same thing, but <cost> will be an action, not a number of resource points.
Almost all payment powers are notated by -> (arrow). The only immediate exception that comes to mind is evasion. Its a good thing to note if it does have -> it is a payment power.
501.1 Payment powers are identified by the arrow that separates the cost of the power and the effect the power puts on the chain. In the Official Card Reference and these rules, this arrow is symbolized as “>>>”. Payment powers generate payment effects on the chain. (See rule 505.)
I believe Hulk 5 drop's boost power is a triggered effect not a payment.

502.1 Triggered powers are identified by the words “at the start of,” “when,” or “whenever.” Triggered powers wait for their trigger events to occur, at which point they trigger. Triggered powers generate triggered effects on the chain.
Since Hulk's power reads:
Quote
Boost - KO a Hulk you control with cost X: When Hulk enters play, stun target character with cost X or less.
Then "when" signifies a triggered power, shown by rule number 502.1 in the rules reference.
So if you Omni an evader, they will keep the Evasion keyword (so they'll still key off any modifiers that look for Evaders), but they lose the ability to actually evade.
Maybe an odd question, but what effect has evasion?
For example Speed Demon (MSM089) is in play and the opponent is attacking him or is it not possible to attack him because of evasion? - I didn't read something about evasion in the rulebook I have, but maybe evasion is a newer feature.
