This question came up during a game. Supes says:

Loyalty
Superman gets +1 / +1 for each opposing character.

The question is does he get the +1/+1 for each character my opponents control or for each character that he's in combat with. I say for each they control but his reasoning is that would make him to powerful and that the word "opposing" would reference to characters he's in combat with.

The total number of characters your opponents control. It has nothing to do with guys he's fighting at the moment.

Tell that to the judge who was at the event. He agreed with my opponent.

Bad judge bad bad judge

It's legal in most states to stab judges who make blatantly bad calls during a tournament. Check with your local police to find out how your state's "No Player Left Behind" laws are being implemented.

Was the judge a friend of your opponent? My guess is he is. Also don't listen to spud stabbing a judge who makes such a bad call is not worth it. Set him on fire, it's more fun that way.

i'd stab while he is on fire

Stab him with a flaming knife thus setting him on fire by stabbing him.

Better yet cut his hand off at the wrist, shove it down his throat so that he can't scream while you stab him as he burns.

The problem with stabbing the burning is you can get burned too, solution don't use a knife, a knife is a boys toy or a tool, use a sword or spear, the greater the legnth the bigger the fire can be.

Yeah supes is great against swarm, bad agains Hulk, X-statix, etc.

OK so the consensus as of now is to:

1) Cut of his hand and shove it down his throat so he can't scream.
2) Set him on fire.
3) Use a large stabbing weapon like sword or spear, and poke holes in him from a distance so we don't get burned.
4) Makes smores from the fire.

Yeah that sounds just about right, but I would also video tape it and show it to next judges that you get in a tourney so they know not to mess with you. :p
