Question:

My friend played a Death of a Dream with boost. Is it consedered only one effect or are they separate effects. Because I wanted to negate it with Bat Got Your Tongue (that only negates one effect). Do I negate it all or just one of the effects?

Only one plot twist was played and it was negated. Boost is a payment cost but still a part of the same plot twist.

Think of it like negating a character's boost effect. If the character's recruitment was negated, so was the boost. Even if the cost was paid.

On a related note, since PA is so common now adays, a great way to get around PA with Death of the Dream is to target one of your own resource and boost. BGYT can still stop it but PA can't.
