Take even initiatives.
Draw 4: Techno, Beatdown, Black Box, Deathmatch
Mulligan. Draw 4: X-23, Mobilize, Deathmatch, Cable 2
T1
Draw 2: Black Box, Rapid Strike
Play Mobilize as a resource, shift Cable 2.
T2
Draw 2: Deathmatch, Savage Beatdown
Shift in Cable 2. Rally when you attack; hit The Best.
T3
Draw 2: Captain, Techno Virus
Play Captain as a resource. Mobilize for Tabitha discarding X-23, play Tabitha.
Rally with Cable when defending, hit The Best. Both characters stun, lose Cable.
Draw 2: Tabitha, The Best
Play Rapid Strike as a resource, reservist out Captain and replace with Beatdown.
Start of combat, Captain becomes Cable; draw a card - Techno Virus. Attack Tabitha into the opposing 4-drop, play The Best (discard Tabitha to deal 3), play another The Best, play Rapid Strike for the stun; ready Tabitha. Attack Captain into another character, mainly to clear the way for Tabitha.
Attack directly, or into an unreinforceable character, with Tabitha. Play Techno Virus, discarding Deathmatch to deal 3. Draw 4: Beatdown, Blinding Rage, Cable 2, X-Force Reborn. Discard Cable 2. Play Techno Virus, discarding X-Force Reborn to deal 3. Draw 4: Tabitha, Beatdown, X-23, Blinding Rage, discard the 2 characters. Play Black Box to shuffle in two Techno Viruses, discard The Best to deal 3. Draw Deathmatch. Play two Beatdown, discarding a Deathmatch each time to deal 3 twice. Play Beatdown from the row. Play two Blinding Rages.
Tabitha's ATK: 27
Endurance loss dealt through her ability: 15
That's 42 on that attack; the free stun on the 4-drop is another 4; Captain should have dealt 4, Cable should have dealt at least 2 on the second turn.
Another game:
Draw 4: Moonstar, Deathmatch, Tabitha, X-23
T1
Draw 2: Techno Virus, Rapid Strike
Play Rapid Strike as a resource, play Moonstar, attack for 2 (48).
T2
Draw 2: Techno Virus, Black Box
Play Deathmatch as a resource, play X-23. Assume Moonstar can't stun anything in combat.
T3
Draw 2: X-Force Reborn, Moonstar.
Play Black Box as a resource. Play Tabitha. In combat, activate and return Moonstar to hand: rally thrice, showing Captain, The Best, Rapid Strike (Captain goes on bottom). Assume no characters stunned this turn.
T4
Draw 2: Cable 4, Beatdown
Play Beatdown as a resource, play Cable 4.
Attack Tabitha into a 4-drop. Play The Best, discarding Moonstar to deal 3 (45). Play Deathmatch from the row, discarding Moonstar to deal 3 (42). Play Rapid Strike from the row, discarding X-Force Reborn to deal 3 (39), get the "free" stun (35), ready. Attack Cable into their 3-drop (29). Attack X-23 into their 2-drop (24). Attack Tabitha directly, play Techno Virus, discarding Rapid Strike to deal 3 (21). Draw 4: Deathmatch, The Best, 2 Blinding Rage. Play Techno Virus, discarding Deathmatch to deal 3 (18). Draw: Cable 2, Cable 4, The Captain, Deathmatch, discard the 3 characters. Play Black Box to shuffle in the 2 Techno Viruses, discarding Deathmatch to deal 3 (15). Draw Techno Virus. Play Techno Virus, discarding The Best to deal 3 (12). Draw 4: X-23, Beatdown, Black Box, Tabitha, discard the characters. Play Black Box, shuffling in Techno Virus. Draw The Captain. Play Beatdown, discarding The Captain to deal 3 (9). Play another Beatdown and 2 Blinding Rages. Tabitha's ATK: 22. Opponent goes to -13.
X-Force Reborn is in the deck to let you keep 2-drop Cable going into turn 4, if you happen to end up playing The Captain instead of 4-drop Cable. I don't think it's optimal, though. I had tried Vivisector in place of 2-drop Cable, as well as Pete Wisdom (who may be the better choice, as he lets you use Moonstar on the turn you'd play him). I also tried Psimitar, but wasn't sure I wanted more non-plot twists. Call in a Favor might be worth it as well. Any ideas for the deck?
So you just draw the cards you want by like...what thinking about it really hard or something?
Cause I still haven't got that to work.
It's almost like the cards I draw are...well...randomly shuffled or something???
Being a jerk aside...my point still stands. The chances of you getting exactly the cards you need at just the right time so you can do all that stuff you just typed seem pretty remote.
In the first example, it looks like you're playing Beatdowns on turn 3 :)
I think the examples here are based off of goldfishing. The deck does seem kind of random, but is a plot twist draw monster. I do like Call in a Favor, as it lets you cut some more characters and be more plot twist heavy.
I do agree it might be helped by having a good turn 5 play? Unless another copy of The Captain is enough. I think that Black Box and Techno Virus combine very well, at the least, and Tabitha is also potentially abusive. I wanted to get Feral to work with this, but Tabitha was usually better...
I've been messing around with this for bout an hour or so, It can be a tad inconsistant, especially w/o Moonstar or Cable Soldier X, but it is a lot of fun, and seems potent even without Tabitha because of all the atk pumps. I did replace one of each of, Cable Dayspring, X-Force Reborn, and Blinding Rage, with 3 psimitars. I was finding myself discarding those cards anyway, and I felt Psimitar would be a good fit.
wow is it quite possible that all the teams with in the mev set can set up turn 4 kills. first exiles now xforce. whats next weopon x??? super hotness ashton keep it up.

No need to attack him he just posted his X-Force list and the turn four wins he pulled him.
