Can you chain 4 drop beast effect to energize to re-ready him?

That's what beast says.....

Yep. He becomes a defender, Energize chains. You respond with his power, it chains and resolves, and then Energize resolves, readying and letting him fire again.

hmmm that's what some people have said but I've heard other stuff also....it's still confusing to me......

The important part is that Energize isn't instantaneous. It chains, so it happens after he's been declared a defender, but still lets you chain other things to it.
