on my drive back home from work, my mind strayed to some of my fond memories of the big events, and one scene stuck out: Cliff giving someone an EA babs at the SA event at Worlds at the end of one of his games.

Also running through my mind, well a friend's b-day was this past week and some kid brought over pokemon decks and they played a game (uum ...)

So, piecing it together, would you be willing to infiltrate another game, 'pull a cliffy' and help promote the game?

... Maybe Yugioh. Def. not pkmn, lol. That's just me though. Whatever your cup of tea is. End result is the same. Thoughts?

Assuming UpperDeck and Konmai manage to sort out the current difficulties, a YuGiOh-themed Essential Collection for VS would rock muchly. Not sure how stuff like Fusion would translate over (no extra deck in VS) but the EC might just work to introduce a few Yu-Gi-Oh players to VS.

Not sure if it'd work the other way round...

...and here we were trying to save the game. That would certainly be the final nail in the coffin.

I was thinking about going to a couple local yugioh tournaments this weekend and giving some demos to the older kids who might be interested in VS. It's going to be a little easier with all the big comic book hits this summer.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if it was Yugi, Joey, Kaiba et all (or, more likely, Yuusei, Jack etc). Though a mix of them and a selection of the monsters would probably work best.
