While I was setting on the can last night I was going through a stack of cards looking for some jank. Not necessarily game winner jank but just something that would be fun to throw in a deck.


The target card to fun with is:

Space Gem, Unique * Infinity Gem
Whenever equipped character becomes stunned during the combat phase, you may return Space Gem and the equipped character to their owners' hands.

The plan is to equip it to a character that has a coming into play effect...maybe a cool activation power...but mainly a coming into play effect.

First thought was APE X. I have played this combo before but did not try and abuse it. Sure I would be under dropping for awhile but I could fill my hand with some equipment...

I have used that combo, on Haywire (0 cost), in my Squadron deck.

You equip him with the gem on your intiative, attack and he pops to stay outa harms way on your opponents intiaive. Free characters for the win.

Pfft, equipping Haywire with the Powergem is pipe.

A 4/1 zero drop.

Hilarious.

Activate the new Black Panther on him and put the POwer Gem and the Sould Gem on. That way he is a 4/1 that returns to your hand with all the equipment in tow.
