Ok. So I got my hands on Cyber Eltanin from Shonen Jump. The effect is this...
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play all LIGHT Machine-Type monsters you control and that are in your Graveyard. This card's ATK and DEF become equal to the number of monsters removed from play when it was Special Summoned x 500. When this card is Special Summoned, send all other face-up monsters on the field to the Graveyard.
So. Besides Cyber Dragon, and the V,W,X,Y,Z monsters, can anyone else think up ways to use this card? I ran it with the aforementioned cards, but I'm kind of wondering if there's a better way of running this. Or for that matter, if it's worth running in a deck.
Cyber Eltanin itself
Cyber Dragon
Cyber Twin Dragon
Cyber End Dragon
Proto-Cyber Dragon
Cyber Dragon Zwei
Cyber Vary
Cyber Dinosaur
Dukker/"DUCKER Mobile Cannon:
Reflect Bounder
Searchlightman
Helping Robot for Combat
Roulette Barrel
Satellite Cannon
Mecha-Dog Marron
UFOroid (if one bothers to use it)
Emes the Infinity
Metal Shooter
Blue Thunder T-45
Jade Knight
Heal Waver/"Healing Wave Generator"
Tuning Supporter/"Tuningware"
Arms Aid/"Armory Arm"
Hyper Synchron
Scanner
Genex Neutron (OCG)
...are more general LIGHT Machine-Types. VWXYZ I'd keep in their own Deck and Cyber Eltanin as backup. Same with most of the Gradius-related stuff.
I would NOT dedicate the entire Deck to just Cyber Eltanin however, but if your Deck does use a decent number of LIGHT Machine-Type monsters, then it couldn't hurt to try it out.

Wow. I don't think I've heard of a couple of those cards... I'll look them up.
But, on the Gradius related stuff, wouldn't that include Jade Knight and Blue Thunder T-45? I mean, I think they've all came from the games in one form or another... Or am I wrong?
Hmm. That's a good list though, none the less. Like I said, I've tried the VWXYZ's, and although it worked pretty well, it just didn't fit in with each other. (Sort of like Chazz and Zane merging decks or something...) But, with that list, I might come up with something useful. Thanks.
Though VWXYZ and Cyber Eltanin actually work fairly well together in the removal aspect. And you wouldn't need too many other LIGHT Machines given just using 2 copies of each gives you 10 LIGHT Machines alone.

Yeah. Cyber Eltanin alone kind of makes me want to do a "Zane" theme deck. Although, I can only run 2 Cyber Dragon. Haven't heard about Cyber Vary though. And you kind of forgot Cyber Kirin on the list too.
Cyber Vary = "Valley"...stupid engrish, lol. And I didn't list Cyber Giraffe because...well...it's not THAT good. Only really meant to block Power Bond's damage. Other than that, effect damage isn't exactly WIDELY used. At least enough for Giraffe to be very effective. I only listed the more decent ones that are at least usable in some way.

Is that what Cyber Giraffe was? I was always thinking it was an actual Giraffe. LOL.
Well, with the "commonization" of Cyber Dragon, Proto Cyber Dragon, and Cyber Valley in the new Machina structure, I might end up making something Cyberific sometime soon.

Hmm. Nice. Maybe they'll release Cyber Larva sometime soon. As far as Lorelei, it kind of reminds me of Victory Dragon in a way.
You'd be surprised. After all Oreichalcos Shinoras, Guardian Eatos, Darkness Neosphere, Clear Vice Dragon, and Clear World was only out for a few months in the OCG before they came out in the TCG.

True. Very true. Well then, maybe it will come out in the next expansion set.
