lost on the names?

As I build, I want to know: Giant Kozaky is on the Field and attempts to self-detonate. If I activate Shadow Imprisoning Mirror, can I assume G.Kozaky will stay on the Field?

* "Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror" cannot negate the Continuous Effects of DARK monsters


* The first part of "Giant Kozaky" is a Continuous Effect that does not start a chain. The second part is a Trigger Effect that can be chained to.


"First part" being the self-destructing and the 2nd part being damage inflicting.
