Hey guys!

I haven't been on here since 07-29-2005, but I recently came across my old VS cards and have been playing catchup on what has happened to the game since I left. That's where you come in.

I see that many more sets were released over the years, but the game was cancelled in 2009. I've read the "official" reason why, but were there ever any "insider" reasons as to why the game was discontinued? It's not that important really, but I am curious.

I also saw that while a majority of VS websites and players bases have disbanded, there is still an active VS community out there. I saw that Gen Con even has an annual tournament, something I wouldn't mind attending.

This next part only applies to people in Florida, but I was interested in hearing if any tournaments are still held on a weekly/monthly/yearly basis. I'm in Orlando but I'd be down for driving an hour or two to get in some VS.

If there's anything you'd like to share about the current state of VS then I'd love to hear it. Let me hear your story and tell me what you do these days to get your VS fix.

That's pretty much the story behind VS; "You build it; we'll take it from here". Sounds like a couple people that VSRealms help build up and then they decided to leave. LOL!
