while sorting through all my old stuff i found a small box with some mechwarrior in it .. and a page from a scrye magazine.

in the box is the contents (mostly) of the listed army.

it inspired me on looking for alternates to powerful uniques... never really went back on that since .. in any game.

did scrye do this often?

Never seen such articles before. I've always been a bargin bin player & looked to field more for the points. Played DA not AoD so my tanks were better than my mechs. 300 points in the begging for me was Dragonsfury ForestryMech MOD, M1 Marksman/DI Schmitt & 5 Gnomes

This is actually pretty interesting. I haven't played in a bit, but I'm willing to bet I could come up with several good proxy figures for the larger "flashier" mechs.
