How do you guys feel about [cards]Living Totem[/cards]? I'm really excited for this card for it's stand-alone benefits, but I could also see some sweet replicating combos.

It's pretty nice. Has on-par stats for its cost, and is a place to dump excess resources. Being able to gain various bonuses is great.

Its best use would be in PvE, with the Battleborn Boots.

Well, equipment makes any card better. I really like the flexibility of the card in general.

This card could definitely snowball late game. It could really do well in decks that have a lot of low-cost cards, because it's ability would allow you to utilize your energy even with no cards in your hand worth playing. It might help make up for a card disadvantage there.

the biggest issue is, that you could push this card with tons of mana, and in the end it gets [cards=hex]Murder[/cards]ed.

Well, [cards]Murder[/cards] could happen to any bomb card. If only Spellshield was one of the options!

Spellshield would make this OP - I disagree that this is useless early game - pop it out on turn 2 and then turn 3 you have a 2/2 something.

I think it's a monster in draft as you're probably going to have a lot of dead resources while drawing things you can't use right away and this is a great dump.

I completely agree that spellshield would be OP on this card. I think it really is a great card as is.

It being Diamond is one of the best factors for me. :)

My opinion could change - I'm open to it, but always in MtG I was mono Black or Red/Green - I have a feeling it's going to be the same here.

Although...some of those Diamond cards do look pretty amazing. With the cost structure the way it is here I might be able to try out a few more things than I really went for previously in other games...

I can't say I was ever a single color kind of person. Each set of cards gave me a new favorite color. I like the look of diamond as it's been revealed so far.

I know I've said this before so sorry for repeating but the reason behind my mono black obsession was discard - I've always loved the mechanic.

Hymn to Tourach (spelling?) was probably my favorite card of all time. A first turn Dark Ritual into Hypnotic Specter, then second turn Hymn and attack with the Specter to make them discard 3 cards was glorious lol

Never really played Magic, but in the Yugioh TCG my favorite type of deck is "cure-burn", so I'll likely be going Diamond/Ruby for my 'main' deck.

I'll play basically everything at least somewhat, though.

I'll be building all sorts of fun decks. I think three colored decks are going to be much more common in Hex.

A generally versatile card that can potentially win games. If this card lives for some turns and they buff it every turn, then the only way to kill it is to use cards like Murder.
