Was at my local store getting paints for 40k and noticed some mechwarrior boosters on the shelf. Asked about it and the owner said he got a deal on a close out. Talked a bit about the game. He said wizkids is talking about starting the game back up. Is there anyone plugged in well enough to know either way about this? I may not have the money to sink in as I once did (married now) but always like extra options for my armies

I haven't heard anything about that. The rights to the clix base are now held by NECA (which the new WizKids is a part of), and the rights to everything in the Battletech universe are held by Topps. So NECA would need to have enough interest to purchase a license agreement from Topps - which is what Catalyst does to produce new material in the BT universe.

Not impossible, but unlikely at this time. Oh, how I wish it weren't so! :)

To bad. I had my issues with tournaments & figure design but enjoyed the game itself. Never got into AoD ad Falcons Prey with mechs with 4" range killed the game in my area. I've good collections of HS/SH, aBR, DF/HK, HD/SS, deccent armies of RotS & CNC/SC, enough to play for CW/SW. Would like something to go with Clan Sea Fox & Comstar. Can always dream of more toys for armies that we just got a glimpse of
