Greetings - I have been away from MW for years, but wanting to get back in. I had a huge pre-AOD collection; where are some good starting points?

I have the AOD Demo kit from years back; are there any 'broken' rules / units to watch out for?

Mostly, I want 'mech combat; I plan on using 'mechs individually and making scenarios / mini-campaigns that I like, not necessarily via WK rules. :confused:

I like to take the base mech, and 'clean it up' a bit

Seka Ward piloted by Aiko Ryohara with Decoy gear caused a
big stink, although I think it was unfounded. Wizkids responded with the Merc Pride faction pride ability, which was even more broken. Most house rules ban Merc Pride or otherwise try to balance it out.
As far as getting units, Hills Wholesale games still has some great deals!

Our group has a rather loose campaign setting in 3136; we've played using the CtH rules [and keep modifying them].

We've bought from Hills [and others] a fair bit in the last 4-5 months.

You're welcome, and welcome back! It sounds like you may enjoy the Solaris VII rules also. It's mech-on-mech and very campaign friendly.
