I haven't had the time, or drive lately, to do a full rules primer. However, skimming over everything, I had a few things pop out that I wanted to make sure I understood correctly and/or didn't have the time to research, so this is more of me asking the question and/or open discussion as to how something works.

Stoking Mutant Hysteria: Friends of Humanity Rallies: Leadership. When Graydon Creed uses it and succeeds, instead of the normal effect you may generate a XDPS #006 Friends of Humanity. (When generating them, roll for their trait to determine starting click.) Spreading The "Mutant" Virus: Poison. When a character takes damage from Graydon Creed's Poison, give them a Diseased token. // When Graydon Creed uses Poison, roll a d6. 4-6: Deal 1 damage to each character with one or more of his Diseased tokens. // When a character with a Diseased token is healed, remove all of their Diseased tokens.
The way I see it, even if you moved or were placed, you can still 'use' Poison and therefore damage characters with his Diseased tokens.

Mutant Messiah: At the beginning of the game, for all characters with this trait, choose a friendly character with the Acolytes or Brotherhood of Mutants or X-Men keyword. That character can use Mastermind, but only to choose characters with this trait. Slide In Under The Door: Phasing/Teleport. Passenger: 4, but only to carry characters that share a keyword (with her). Transmute Out of Danger: Super Senses. Once per turn, when Ameila Voght or an adjacent friendly character would take 3 or more damage, you may give that character two action tokens to take 1 unavoidable damage instead. If you do, after resolutions you may place that character in a square adjacent to her current square.
I don't believe this is restrictive to characters with 0 action tokens, so I think you would just take 'up to 2' action tokens. Also, the placement would be adjacent to Amelia's square, not the given character's square.

Movement: Characters Obsession: At the beginning of the game, choose the opposing character with the highest point value. // At the beginning of your turn, if Archangel is within range and line of the fire of the chosen character, note Archangel's current click number and turn him to click #11. If you do, this turn, when making attacks he can only target the chosen character and, at the end of your turn, return him to the noted click number. Nothing Can Take Away My Desire for Revenge: When Archangel moves at least 5 squares in a direct path, he can use Sidestep and Energy Shield/Deflection until your next turn.
The entire move must be within a direct path to be considered moving in a 'direct path', therefore, you can't move straight 5 then over 1 and trigger that effect.

My Mutant Brothers and Sisters: Once per turn when an effect other than clearing removes an action token from Pyro, after resolutions heal him 1 click. Too Hot To Handle: Energy Explosion, Poison. When Pyro uses Energy Explosion, you may choose that he has -or- after resolutions, he can use Barrier at no cost. Anyone Bring the Marshmallows?: FREE: Destroy an object within range. // Whenever Pyro uses a RANGE Destroy Action to destroy a piece of blocking terrain, after resolutions remove an action token from him.
Using his FREE to destroy an object does not trigger the effect to remove an action token.
Also, I noticed a few of the Colossal Retaliators that don't mention not being able to attack smaller characters. Is that just missing in the evidence thread, or is this a new boon to some of the CRs?

1) I'm not sure how Grayden uses Poison without being given the free action to use Poison.
2) I'm not sure about this one. If it said "up to" there would be no question. But to gain the benefit it says, "you may give that character 2 action tokens..." so if you cannot meet that part of the deal you can't use the effect.
Agreed the figure is placed adjacent to Amelia.
3) I don't recall the direct path rules so you may be right. The power says 5 squares must be in a direct path so I'd say that is the requirement - 5 in a direct path. Otherwise it should say, "moves in a direct path at least 5 squares..."
4) Correct. Range Destroy is a specific action and not the same as Free or CLOSE Destroy.
5) Some figures with Colossal Retaliation do not have Colossal Indifference (like, say, Dark Phoenix) so they can attack anyone at any time. I think it is worth mentioning many are unable to use Colossal Retaliation if any friendly figure has been placed this turn - so if you TK a figure or carry someone out before declaring CR you will not be able to use it that turn.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
For Amelia, giving the character 2 tokens is a "cost", so if you can't give them both tokens, it doesn't work. This is a "do X to do Y" effect, not a "do both X and Y" effect. I'm honestly not sure when they last used this wording, though. I think they've been pretty good about wording these types of things as "Do X. If you do, do Y", and this is exactly why they had moved to that type of wording. Kinda makes me wonder if this was an error somewhere along the line. Should probably be addressed officially.
1) I'm not sure how Grayden uses Poison without being given the free action to use Poison.
He doesn't? Sassamo is pointing out that you can always be given the FREE action to activate Poison, which is what triggers Graydon's effect. Poison just doesn't do damage if you've been moved/placed, but you are still "using" Poison by giving the FREE action.
Having now taken the time to look into it, I think Golden Rule 3 handles this :
Quote
THE RULE OF ACTION TOKENS
No effect can result in more than two action tokens on a character. If an effect would cause this to happen, place action tokens on the character until it has two action tokens and ignore the rest. You can’t choose to use any effect that would cause your character to be given a third action token.
