So, I wasn't going to run another game any time soon. But then Melbourne went into another hard lockdown, and I need something to do when I can't leave my house for 6 weeks. So... should I run a new game in the near future?

Would you play? And if so... what should the theme be? I have options.

1) Arkham Horror 3: The Path to Carcossa
The next expansion of AH, this one deals with The King in Yellow mythos and has a strong underlying theme of not knowing if you have gone insane or not. Is everything happening or is it in your head? Are the monsters real or figments of your imagination.

2) Super Smash Bros Ultimate
I ran games on the previous Smash Bros games, I could make a new one. Lots of characters with the expanded roster.

3) Mags' TV Mafia - Reboot!
It's been so long since the last one, and I've seen a lot of TV sin those years. Because of the long gap, I'd go full on reboot. All previous history erased. So characters that have appeared before not necessarily off limits. Probably focus on what I'm watching these days, but that is a good mix of old and new stuff, so the doors would really be wide open.

4) Table Top Games
Arkham is my favourite game, but not my only one. Anyone here who is Facebook friends with me knows I have an extensive collection. The game would be based on my whole collection.

5) Best of Mags
I've modded a lot of games. Like, a whole lot. I could maybe go through some of my old games and collect roles, All Stars Style.

6) Something Else? Have a suggestion, throw it out. Maybe I'm missing an obvious theme that would really work with my style/tastes.

7) Any of the above. You don't care and would play anything with my name attached to it.

Technically 7 is true, but for preference I recommend 2, 3, or 5.

Echoing Destructo here - 7 is my first thought, but second preference is for 2 & 3

Of course he should, and I will play no matter what the theme. I have missed the TV Mafia series in particular, but your oneshot themes are always good too. Amd I certainly wouldn't mind a chance to play in a Best Of game, it's far too rare for me.

As someone else who is also in perpetual lockdown I'm defiantly down for another Mags game.

I went down the list like this... "Would definitely continue Arkham. Hmmm but I like Smash as well... Oh TV mafia again?? Awesome, loved that series. Board games? Yessir! Just picked up Table Top simulator the other day."

So long story short... 7 for me as well.

I'd play. Arkham interests me the least out of the options, but I'd play regardless.

Well, it’s no secret that out of all the Mythos, the Yellow Sign related material is by far my favourite (I recall I was supposed to be out doing wedding prep duties and instead I was trying to find a shop selling the King in Yellow expansion for the board game). So if you can rig the die so I end of the King....

Seriously, though, you know what we are all going to truly be thinking because we care about you more than a game: mod what you’re wanting. I get the feeling you listed the other choices not just because you wondered what people would like but because you’re drifting in the direction of doing something other than Arkham.

Heck, if you want I can tell you how Empyre turns out and you can run a game on that.

Quite the opposite, actually Rokk. The choices are vaguely listed in my order if preference. I would love to do Arkham 3, but I'm feeling like I've been pushing my pet project a little hard when, in reality, only me, you and Vlad actually care about that theme.

As for Empyre, I don't need spoilers unless something tragic is going to happen to Billy or Teddy. I'll have to prepare myself for that.

If I was to throw in a vote, it'd be for TV, but with a small tear for the reboot-ness as the former keeper of the list

I believe I have pointed out earlier that I would happily play in The Wonderful World of Dung Beetles Mafia if you ran it. I enjoyed the Arkham Horror games immensely even though I am not familiar with the source material. Would happily play in the third one too.

I'd be down for TV

Part of the reason it's be a reboot is that the computer with my old files on it was stolen a few years back, so I've lost all those glorious lists of who I've already used. If I didn't reboot, I'd probably mess up and accidentally include a repeat.

Reboot keeps me safe. Although, if you have the lists, I could just make it a continuation many years later, Will and Grace style.
