The fact I'm not playing in games in the moment doesn't mean I don't still like running them! My next game I plan to run is based on Magic: The Gathering, and in particular, the Rath Cycle. One of the most famous events in Magic history, this story covers the adventures of the Skyship Weatherlight and her crew as they attempt to rescue their captain who has been kidnaped and imprisoned on the plane of Rath. The story is primarily covered in the sets Weatherlight, Tempest, Stronghold, and Exodus, as well as the anthology book Rath and Storm. As with all my games, knowledge of the source will likely be useful but unnecessary.

If you are going to sign up, I ask that you can at least commit to making at least a few posts each day as well as a vote. My game will be following my usual schedule of being open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with night being all other days.

It's right before the Urza/broken block. Was around when I first started playing the card game.

I’m a late bloomer. The first set I ever actually played was Shadows Over Innistrad.

Some of the characters are still around. Squee, Multani, and the skyship itself, as well as it's first capitan, Jhoira (who is not in this story) were around in the set Dominaria a few years back and Karn is a major character. But he wasn't a planeswalker yet. Tahngarth, Gerrard, Mirri, Greven il-Vec, Volrath, and Sisay have all gotten new cards since you started as well, although if you don't care about Commander or Modern you may have missed them.

Urza finally got a card as well.
