A new pool:Underrated but actually good heavy guys
I was thinking of writing an article about Underrated Heavy guys that actually are good, but I start to think that would be better instead of just putting my oppinions, knew about all your opinions, so I decided to post it here, but I kind of dont like the pool section , so is just going to be here...I want this over for Thursday at night, so that is the time were I will start to count the votes and finish the article...also at this section like is DC section, just put guys from DC, and if someone wants to put some Marvel or Indy guys, go to the marvel or Indy section and there will be also a place to vote...When I finish, I would put the 15 most underrated heavy guys that are actually good from Marvel and DC and Indy and some description and another stuff...
Thanks for your help guys...
When it comes to DC and underrated Heavyweight figures, the first two figures that come to my mnd are Bane and Doomsday.
Bane isn't QUITE as underrated as most, since people are starting to notice him. But with his high attack and CCE, he's perfectly paired with any flying figure that also has a high attack and high damage. I mostly prefer teaming V Bane with LE Carter Hall.
Doomsday, on the otherhand, cost sooo much to play, and for that reason people don't use him. But with the recent playability of Impervious, and his Charge, Super Strength, and CCE, he's just a really, really nasty figure to take down.

I would have to second both of these. Bane is not only good, but stable. His lack reliance on toughness when most other bruisers in his class have INV or IMP make him cheaper than most, and thus a new option.
Doomsday reminds me a lot of Ulik with Superman Enemy team. That is not a bad comparison. If you can get another SE, like a Doombot/Saturngirl/Lex Corp taxi next to him he can outwit his enemies outwit to protect his IMP or outwit defense powers to give himself even more damage potential.
Darksied is underrated because he compares badly to Desparo, but he's still great in higher point games where having PB and outwit at the same time is really nice.
Joker is a WTF kind of peice, and that's how he SHOULD be!
I would have to chime in with Darkseid, that guy is a beast!! Good stats and consistent powers I like him over Despero due to his constant MC, and first few PB, which you have to get lucky with Despero and land on after his first click. my only reserve is that he isn't a Superman Enemy, but he takes care of that problem with a long opening dial of outwit, all for 123 points he is good bet to be one of the last ones standing if played right.
Help!! I am under attack by the culture of life!! Send Zombies!!!

I have the impression that Solomon Grundy V is a bit underrated. I mean, he's only 75pts, has a really deep dial, impervious, 3 damage, SS...
I think he can cause some serious damage before being Ko'd.
What you guys think?
Grundy is the Mastermind fodder o' doom. Him next to the Joker has been hell so often, and with SS it gets insane. I've never had much success with him just wading straight into combat.
I agree with Wodan. Grundy is always under estimated. For 48 points, 10 clicks of life, SS, Toughness, 10 AV for 3 clix. He's mean. Sure movement is poor, but TK being the new thing, he should do well. I also think Grodd, mostly his rookie version is always looked over. Swiss Army Knife of powers. Super Strength that turns to PB, Toughness and late dial outwit. He's just very good for the points, as is Swampthing, Arcane, and Hawkman.
If by underrated you mean seldom seen used, then I have to agree with some of the above, although I'll give you a couple of other ones.
Titania. She's right there with Bane and Hercules in terms of usefulness, she just suffers from the ####py team ability. Still, she can be a bit of a surprise to an opponent, since she's not played often.
Thing. I rarely see this guy used, and he's really a good piece. He suffers from a lower AV, but makes up for that in defense. He's a couple of perplex pieces away from being a really awesome threat.
Mr. Hyde. He's a lot like Grundy. Deep dial, good numbers, but rarely used. Which is a shame because he's not bad, especially when you consider his point cost. he maxes out at what, 60 something.
Juggernaut. Have you all taken a look at his stats lately? Great AV, great DV, and INV forever. Seriously, why this guy isn't played more often I'm not sure. Perhaps its his cost, which is a little high. But if you put him on a team with Mystique, maybe a con artist or 2, and some TK, and he's absolutely LETHAL. Not to mention he can be great tie-up with his high DV.
Swamp Thing. Great tie-up, strong hitter, deep dial. And not too expensive. Man, I need to work him onto some teams. Anyway, pretty underrated, if not underused.
Lead me not into temptation, just point me in the general direction and I'll find it myself.
Swamp Thing this guy is hell to put down for good, Solomon Grundy & Gorilla Grodd are also great they tends to be overshadowed by the other pieces in their price range though like Bane.

For DC I gotta go with Solomon Grundy I especially love the exp one hes so cheap and gets so much play time. Just slowly move him further and further into the mix and after sucking up 20 clicks worth of damage and your main hitters are unharmed, you will love the fact this guy can draw fire so well. Why does he draw others' fire so easily? He deals 5 damage with an item for like 4 clicks and then deal 4 w/item from then on. LOVE IT
I was just gonna toss Dove out there. While not an extremely heavy hitter (no SuperStrength) a dial full of CCE and Toughness to SS is nice.
I am also gonna sing Martian Manhunter's praises. Don't know if you would toss him in the "Underrated" but I don't often see him. Talk about a steady dial, plus some perplex, stealth, phasing....he's got it all.
Grundy's Rookie is incredibly deep and he only get's better from then on out.
Bane is another great brick, but I see him often enough.
