hey everyone, i want to make an x-men team, but i dont no wut i should use. you think you can help me?

Classic, 80's, new age, or just tournament winning?

Personally I like the idea of keeping a V Jean Grey around for healing and TK. Saves you from having to sport a medic. Dependant on points, I like adding in Cyclops, Beast, Iceman, Archangel, and Professor X for the classic feel... Otherwise pick the figures you like the best to play with.

Later tonight (when I am at my own computer) I will try and post up a sample team or two for you. I love dem X-men...

How many points are we talking? And what LE or U's do you have? Are you looking for a pure X-Men team, or will you add outside help like vengence_dude did?

If you have a nightcrawler it's easy
Nightcrawler, Gambit, Beast, Jean Grey plus whatever else

Or how about something like this (I'm missing both of the uniques, otherwise I'd try it myself )?

Jean is there for support and for TK mobility. Professor X is there for the leadership and Mind Control. Shadowcat is a taxi and can be used to block line of sight with supersenses or as a X-Men sponge. Wolverine and Beast are there for combat support.

Perplex Nightcrawler
TK Nightcrawler
Use Sarah as a damage sponge for Jean since Sarah has Regen
Enhance Gambit's Energy Explosion with Psylocke
Perplex up Gambit's range on Nightcrawler's resting turns
Soar with Iceman and Barrier at full range to protect Nightcrawler if necessary.

Pulling off a purist team for X-men would be much easier than most teams with the large selection.

You might want to mention which figures you have to help with building your team.

If you have them try the "Fate of the Phoenix!" team from UXM 137:
