A lot of people are probably going to dismiss him since he has that negative effect but honestly with all that steal energy and flurry at the top it wont matter much. Although he doesn't have any real interesting powers he is still a BEAST of a figure. Trait can remove tokens off him, cosmic energy willpower can remove tokens off him. He does pen damage and nullifies enemies pen damage. He's actually very good, just a little bland and slightly over costed is all..

FINALLY, a Sentry with range value! Defensively, he's a brick wall. Outwit, Penetrating/Psychic Blast, and Exploit Weakness don't affect him. And Pulse Wave...well...sucks. Him taking a couple damage isn't all bad, when you can then deal 8 penetrating damage, in one action, via Flurry/EW—and then, of course, heal back to full, via Steal Energy. If you can make a few successful rolls for Willpower and his Trait, then he'll be an absolute killing machine.

That "deal him one unavoidable damage" part of his trait is pointless since he has steal energy on 90% of his dial:|. Unless they created that power to just push you to the 2nd click. If only there was an easier way...

I actually called that he would be in this set, well before he was revealed (thanks WizKids for always giving me my dark avengers piecemeal, smh). I was scared he would not have the keyword when I saw him. Now that we know his dial, I say prayers of thanks that he does.

As mentioned in previous posts, he is a beast! I also appreciate that he has a reasonable point value as well. Surprisingly, I'm not so sure he is a true replacement for the CW sentry outside of the little aging on stats. I can see myself grabbing both and mixing it up. This is no doubt my biggest want from this set.

One of the most cost effective versions of The Sentry. A brick that can hit very hard and very fast. MULTIPLE ways to clear tokens off of himself. Ways for him to heal. In the right set up, he will be bringing the pain to whatever figure he deems the most potent threat. One of my top choices for chase pulls from this set.

Nobody is dismissing him. He's a powerful piece that can do insane damage. It's one thing to troll the boards but you actively lower a figures rating. This is a hard hitting piece and I think he pairs amazingly with the new Beast. He can carry around an empower piece and get full benefit from it, all the while being insanely hard to hit and hurt. I'm certain this figure will see meta play since his stats are insane, the keywords are useful and he can use equipment.

i wish he started with Exploit, but otherwise he's really not bad... he keep healing on top of being able to reduce penetrating damage, which i don't understand why the later isn't given out to more higher point characters.

This guy with Banshee and Daken from R&F make a 295pt horsemen team. I just thought that was cool. Hopefully we'll get a Grim Reaper with the horsemen keyword while those three are still modern.

You can solve that whole not having exploit on his top dial by giving him exospex, pair him on an avengers team with a scarlet witch or maybe even imortal hulk and have fun

Exospex does not give Exploit Weakness because it only lets you pick speed or attack powers. Neither of which exploit weakness falls under.

The real answer is to equip Sentry with the new sword that grants Exploit weakness. By the way, RockyRaccoon, you have been caught cheating during games multiple times. Please refrain from giving HeroClix advice for a bit.
