I was just wondering if anyone used the Vet. Captain America much. I am trying to build a good 300 pt. team with him but come up short every time.

Please help me!

Vet Cap is somewhat disappointing. Only has one click of charge, while his Exp version has multiple clicks of steath. the best use for him that I have found is as a support/backup position. In the Avengers teams I have built, I have hang around some one like the Scarlet Witch to protect her.

With Charge consider pairing him with someone with TK like vet Jean Grey. Have the TKer Send him flying 10 spaces, and then Cap charge and attack. Vet Cap is a good back up attack piece, and is good for getting rid of medics.

And tough to hit at range (although there is outwit...)

Just an aside, I always thought the E Cap was quirky...Stealth AND ESD?!!? Just specifically to work against Supes Ally figs? Very inefficient, although that's assuming you keep Cap in Stealth as long as possible.

I've found cap's nitch.. he's a back up attacker... The best thing to do is send out your heavys.. and then once the war has blown over Cap is perfect cleanup. he hits decent has a good AV, but with no damage reduction the best thing to do is keep him behind until everyone is weak, then his defense is brutal

V Cap isn't very usefull anymore. When IC was all that was out there, he was a great piece. These days he just doesn't shine as brightly. He's good for theme teams. Put him in a game where it's Hydra vs SHIELD, and each team gets an appropriate leader and he's good. Nothing better than Cap vs Red Skull.

Well, it looks like you won't have to wait much longer. Ultimate Cap looks as though he's probably over 100 pts, so I'm sure he'll be quite handy. We finally get a Cap that can stand toe to toe with Batman.
