Just curious if anyone has any ideas on a storage system for clix that can double as a display. I know a lot of people use cheap handyman organizers but I’d really like to display my clix as well. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
I have my almost 2000 piece Heroclix collection on a series of wooden shelves and more recently acquired a similar unit to what Hesster56 linked to, but with a glass door. Every shelving unit I have my figures on I had to modify and add extra shelves.
Heroclix figures look so cool and should be shown off...! They make great conversation pieces as well for family, guests and even repairmen. Having an instant visual peeks curiosity from many folk, plus me and my three sons just like to gaze and admire them. It also allows EASY access... within seconds I can have any figure in hand.
When Team Building and also to transfer my figures to and from games outside my home, I bought and get great use from this plastic carrying case that came complete with 4 foam inserts especially made for miniatures:

And yes, NuscaleClix still fit inside of the foam figure slots.
I love the carrying case! That is exactly what I've been looking for! The wooden shelves was where I was thinking of going but wasn't sure how to make them stand out. Do you use pedestals or any LED's? Or do they stand out by themselves?

As long as you have good lighting in the display room you should be fine. I sometimes have to shine a mini-flashlight onto the back rows of a shelf to see certain figures, but it's few and far between.
LED's would be cool I guess, it would be up to you. In my experience constant exposure to direct light fades the dial, so you may want to keep your clix on KO like I do. I also arrange my figures by teams, 6 deep to a row with the tallest figures in the back to the shortest figures in the front so they all can be seen properly, no pedestals but again... that's personal preference.
