This came up at our prerelease. I ruled it that Gamora with Pulsewave would deal her printed damage. Powers for reference-

THE DEADLIEST THOR IN BATTLEWORLD: When Gamora targets more than one character with an attack, instead of dividing the damage, she may deal her printed damage value to each hit target.


PULSE WAVE RANGE: Halve range, . Other characters within range can’t use powers or abilities (for this action). Make a range attack targeting all other characters within range and line of fire, including at least one opposing character, using printed defense values for each targeted character. Each hit character is dealt 1 damage instead of normal damage.

How would you rule this? Why?

Seems like the trait in question requires you to divide the damage, which is only done when using your printed bolts, which Pulse Wave does NOT do, so the trait shouldn't trigger.

I'm curious, how did she get pulse wave in sealed?

I think the "instead of normal damage" clause in Pulse Wave would override her trait, but I'm not sure - good question - subscribing!

She didn't get it, but a couple of my players asked about it during the sealed.

Yup PW deal one instead of normal. There's no interaction with the triat at all.
