Just wanted to say it was disappointing that HCRealms didn't cover or promote this years Scott Porter Heroclix for Huntington's Disease charity event. Congratulations to all the winners and for raising nearly 30k.

MySpace….hardly. But it streams on Facebook and YouTube so there really is no need to find it here. There is only one MySpace of clix that I have seen… and it was created like 3 years ago, has no discussions, and very few actual members.

Realms is doing fine, we got the units section, and we got the news articles. I didn’t much care about the Scott porter event, just because it was so far away. There hasn’t been any nationals news since Covid so I don’t even know what is good these days. Just doesn’t really matter to me atm.

Nationals will be at Gen Con this year, field is limited to 64.

They announced nationals and worlds. The Scott Porter event had online battle royals that would yield real life prizes that got mailed out. Your comments pretty much confirm that realms is the myspace of heroclix.

I was more referring to, I don’t know what has been winning nationals etc. They haven’t happened yet this year I know, but I don’t really know what are the winning formations that everyone is trying to complete.

A lot of the discussions are happening on Facebook, but I’m not part of those groups. I don’t play online, and I never will (this is a table top game, not a cyberspace game. If I am playing online, there are better games for that (elden ring anyone?)

I think the point is that even big Clix news isn't being reported on here anymore.

I vote we worry when HCRealms becomes the heroclix.com of HeroClix.

Funny you describe it that way. In my rare opportunities to be online without some specific work to do, more than once I've found myself reading old threads on the realms from like 8, 10, 12 years ago. The only other place online I ever really did that was on Myspace, back before all our old posts and blogs got unhosted on it. I'm still bummed about all my blogs from overseas or from crazy/funny incidents going on in the 2002-2010 timeframe that are lost forever. Now most of the pictures too. At least you can still access your list of old playlist songs!

The users online amounts and the posts per day in here are crazy reduced from when I was most active on here. The game takes much of that blame, but let's face it, typhon and his most active supporting crew have long since lessened their involvement on the site. The units section will always drag me back though, now and then
