This is what I want out of a melee Storm: stealth traited, giant reach with exploit/quake to bring the lightning, and a rally that says "hey, f*** your ESD/Combat Reflexes in general." She's even got a not inconsiderable range if she can't charge, and she can pay an extra 5 to get a good good knife. So glad I have one.
I've been howling (since Xplosion!) for a close-combat version of Storm that honestly reflects the de-powered version that defeated both Cyclops and Callisto to solidify her leadership. This (split) dial isn't quite that version of the character, but each is probably as close as we'll ever get. Don't sleep on dual-target close-combat attacks with Giant Reach: 3 when she can be equipped with a Sword Object. The B/C/F and triggering effects won't be usable against multiple targets, but having the option to swing against a single target from 3 squares away with BCF and Exploit Weakness or Precision Strike is potent. The traited stealth makes Alluvium a more viable choice for her than it would be for other Sword Bearers.
I haven't had anything with Rally before, and while I understand how the dice stuff works, I'm wondering: does she have Stealth all the time, or only when there's a die on her card?
