Hi All, got an odd question

The Brotherhood TA says "When this character hits AN opposing character..."
I drafted the new Havok at the local tournament, and he has EE on all his dial. Now, supposing my attack roll is 10-12 with EE and there are 4 targets, will the TA look at each instance of hitting an opposing character? Or does it look for at least one hit during an attack in order to trigger??

I'm reading the comprehensive rules, and I'm kinda drawing a blank. Any help here would be appreciated.

Doesn't matter how many targets you hit... if you rolled a 10-12, it activates the TA
