I would say no B/C his Power is really never gone since it all take place at one time. Like in Outwit. If you hit a person who's Inv. your outwiting and he lands back on Outwit he is still has Outwitted INV. Hope that helps... not sure if it's correct though. Probably need to wait for a ruling by Pslockeslover or Canada Maestro.

It's supposed to be lands back on INV. not lands back on outwit...sorry I must be tired.
Was there a ruling made on powers like Perplex and Outwit with regard to PW? When the new rule first came out, some were thinking it meant PW cancelled their effects, when I read it more as PW isn't hindered by them. I haven't seen an official ruling.

For me, the quote at the end ("If a friendly figure within range of the attack tries to use the SHIELD boost, Enhancement, Perplex, etc.. The power/team ability is ignored when resolving the attack") implies that Perplex is ignored (and hence it's effects are ignored as well) if a character within range is trying to use it.
As well, a judge on the wizkidsgames forum ruled a few weeks back that due to the FAQ entry that says Perplex is ignored and DrGandalf posted afterwards in response and didn't say the judge was wrong. Not really an outright ruling on the matter but I would think that if Perplex's effects weren't ignored DrGandalf would have said something.
So Pulse Wave ignores all powers and team abilities within it's range and this means any effects they may have. It doesn't ignore terrain which is what makes terrain made by barrier or smoke cloud seem to many players to be an exception.
