So my question is really simple, however it’s important.
Do you count the cost in the equipment when building your force.
Keep in mind this is post beyond amazing.
I didn’t know if they said anything about the characters getting to start with the equipment would be free or not.

Unless something unexpectedly changes, the equipment rules were updated with Batman Team Up and are active now. The current Comprehensive Rulebook will have the full rules.

You do pay for the cost of equipment when building your force. Newer equipment may have a listed keyword or name, and if the figure the equipment is assigned to has that keyword or name then you don’t have to pay for the equipment’s cost (for example Green Lantern Batman does not have to pay for the Utility Belt or Green Ring).

Characters who have “start the game” traits (for example Swordbearers from X of Swords) only have to pay for the cost of their trait that allows them to start with equipment, assuming the trait has a cost.

This is really all I wanted to know. I thought that I heard that equipment with keywords didn’t cost anything as long as the piece using the equipment had the associated keyword but wasn’t sure how to look it up.
I have the BTU minis game but didn’t want to have to dig through that lol.
