I like both teams, One with the beast that he is in Despero is a huge target on that one, team two with Bats and NW hopping around with outwit , Cosmic boy pushing them around and coping PD for Steel's range attack

Any advice , changes or even different teams is welcomed and needed..

Go with team 1. With the lack of damage reducing powers, minus Steel's toughness, on team two, you can garuntee every hit is going to go through. But with Despero's Imp and high DV you can bet he'll last alot longer than Team 2. Also Fatality has far better than Cosmic Boy (One trick pony). Which gives you oh so many options. Good luck.

Actually, Cosmic Boy is an Excellent TK'er. At 45 Points, he's got the Legion Team Wildcard Abilty (so, he can be stealth with Batman team ability, or outwitter with Superman Enemy) , flight (so he can be used as a Taxi) and 5 clicks of TK: http://www.wizkidsgames.com/heroclix...sp?unitid=3354

So for your team 2, Cosmic boy can also can share Batman and Superman Team abilities.

Well CB, is not there for the Superman TA, due to he has no range, but for the Tk and to copy the PD TA for Range attacks with Bat/NW/Steel

::Yawn:: He's a one trick pony who has no chance of dodging any attacks made on him. He only has TK, where Fatality has TK, Super Senses, RCE, Barrier, 8 range, and incap. All for 23 points more. Now tell me who would be better Cosmic Boy, the one trick pony, or Fatality, thw swiss knife of TK'ers?

He's definately a support character but take a look at his stats. He's got 5 clicks of TK so he's not a one trick pony (you're thinking of a rookie saturn girl or maybe a mandroid) I normally keep him in the rear where I know that I can push him to TK my heavy hitters and still have several clicks of TK to spare.

I say go with team #2 i love despero but i tried that same team once and it got killed!Despero is to big of a target for 300pt games go with batman and nightwing.

sniksder, CB can copy the superman ability and tk objects at people, and in DC, the defenses aren't very high so with his 8 attack it won't be too hard to hit. I doubt anyone would expect him shooting an object at their nightwing for 3, it has worked for me before.

But I would still go with team 1

I´d also go with Team 1. The worst problem in your second team is the low average attack value (best fig is Nightwing with 10). You would have much trouble with pieces like Atom LE or even Despero - with high average defense rates).

sniksder, I go with team 1 as well. I like playing the villains instead of the heroes. Here is a 300 point team similar to yours, except I use Eclipso instead of Despero:

You have someone that see to Stealh and Telekinetic and Outwit

the Superman REV isn't useful. Sorry Maprenfo. He is more expensive than Despero and far far less durable and damage dealing.

Despero is NOT too big a target for 300 pt play. I'd go as far and wager that Despero can still be quite playable in 200 pt play.
